This is the reason I like voting for our guys. Makes them appreciate the fan base more. Let’s them know they are appreciated.

Especially when as a fan base we are definitely not hesitant to be negative at times

This is more of a "which fanbase has the most community activity" or "which fanbase has the most free time" then an actual indication of which player was actually the best player any given week.

Happy for Joe, cause he works hard and gets grief from some fans around here that isn't deserved but to have him win it over a guy that did something as rare as a 5 TD game is just so terrible.

Well we took a break from being the drunkest fans in the NFL to vote.

Happy for him. He may not have been the best choice this week, but I’m quite sure he’s been passed over for other awards he rightfully should have won.

I admit to being absolutely livid had a Steeler been voted over Taylor.

Not so much an award, but we were recently somehow named as the drinkin'est fans in the league.

I have a pretty awesome split screen picture on my phone of my buddy and I watching the Bengals and Lions game at a bar, and his wife entertaining our kids at some park at the same time.

The awards do mean something when our guys get it. They have to be among the league's best in that week to get nominated.

Personally I think all talk about voting for other players should be moved to "Around The NFL". This is Jungle Noise; it's all about the Bengals

To he nominated means something, of course. To win over a guy with 5 TDs just demeans the award though. Pretty easy to see why. Agree to disagree I guess.

Discussing how Bengals players compare to other players around the league doesn't get moved. For obvious reasons.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
