Big Ben's Retiring........
#1
Unfortunately, Big Ben is retiring.

According to ESPN, Ben has told former teammates and some within the organization that this will be his last season playing for the Steelers, but he has also said that he won't play for anyone else, so connect the dots and he's retiring.

It's unfortunate because he's been so bad that he's costing the Steelers games, so I was hoping that he'd keep playing and try to salvage some respect for his name ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD, but I guess not.

I emphasized on the football field because he's a piece of shit that has raped multiple women, and that's just that we know of, so who knows what the real number is.

Quote:Ben Roethlisberger privately has told former teammates and some within the organization that he expects this to be his final season playing quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, league sources told ESPN.

Roethlisberger has not made any such public proclamations, and likely won't, since he doesn't want the latter part of the season to be about him as Pittsburgh tries to make a playoff push.

But sources say he and those within the organization are now operating as if he is entering the final five games of his Hall of Fame career, with two of them fittingly coming against the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh's opponent Sunday and in the final regular-season game as well.

It sickens me that ESPN praises the sack of shit so much and already is placing him in the Hall of Fame.

Quote:Roethlisberger is in the final year of his contract. He is 39 years old and turns 40 in March, and has seen all of his quarterback draft classmates, such as Eli Manning and Philip Rivers, move on to the next chapters of their lives. Roethlisberger's 18 seasons with one team is the most by a quarterback in NFL history.

Roethlisberger has told many that he never would want to play anywhere other than Pittsburgh. It doesn't mean he couldn't surface next season in another NFL city, but that is "highly unlikely," according to one source.

No other team would sign him to play because 1 he was never that good and especially not now and 2 only Pittsburgh would allow a scumbag that rapes women to lead their franchise.

There's more in the article but it ends with this:

Quote:The Steelers' home finale is Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Jan. 3, a game what will air on ESPN's Monday Night Football. Pittsburgh closes out the regular season in Baltimore on Jan. 9.

I hope he throws three picks, the Browns blow them out, and he gets booed off the field because it would just be a fitting ending to a shitty person's career.

The retirement thread got me thinking: if Ben had raped women in Pittsburgh instead of other cities, would the franchise and fans overlook it like they did and just say "I don't care if he's a shitty person off the field"?

Well....what would you think if Joe Mixon beat a woman in Cincinnati instead of Oklahoma?

There was a part of me that felt sorry for him last week. It has to hurt more getting hit, taken down when you're pushing 40. Yes, he has a checkered past and the coach is a thug, but the Steelers will figure it out. Like it or not, they're a successful organization.

I fear we will all be missing Ben when it's Aaron Rodgers taking snaps in Pittsburgh for the next couple years.

Lol this Eric the Midget wannabe would've taken Ben on the Bengals in a heartbeat if the Steeler cut him 10 years ago. And he would've fallen out of his wheelchair cheering for him too. Just like he cheered for Vontaez Birthdefect, O'dell Thurman, Pac Man Jones, Chris Henry, Joe Mixon, and every other woman beating/child raping/general hoodlum miscreant that they used to/still do employ.

His selective morality and phony outrage is cute. Funny and hypocritical, but cute.

Lol.

takes a super tough guy to insult a man in a wheelchair ABOUT BEING IN A WHEELCHAIR.  prototypical steelers fan douche move.   give us some insight into your current BMI/3rdDivorce/alimony situation to make it a fair fight.

child raping?  i know ben technically did that at miami...  but whats your angle here?  or, if this helps...  wuts yiz ingle hur?

seriously hope the best for anyone you share a residence with. trauma is real.

It's smack talk, ya numb nuts.
We're all aware of Brads situation, and I've given him props in the past for what he's done and handled his situation. It's all in fun, ya buzz kill and I honestly don't hate the guy unlike some who post here who actually do and have sent me PMs expressing their true dislike for him.

This place is lame and it's no wonder why. Try to spice it up and be true to the purpose of the room and you immediately kill it. I'd say the cliche "I'll bet you're fun at parties," but I doubt you ever get invited.

As for your questions BMI is 24/one marriage/no alimony....and to get ahead of your next post.....I have all of my teeth, not married to my sister, college educated, don't live in a trailer, and income in the top 20%.

Anything else?

Seeing unintelligent Steelers fans try to justify raping multiple women by comparing it to DUIs and hitting a college girl in a knee-jerk reaction after she assaults him is comical!

Seemed a little over the line when I first read it, but I'll allow it.

Sure.  What the angle on the child raping dig you took?  Because again, there is a much HIGH probability your rapist demi-god did this while at Miami.

All good though.  Not sure I'd make rape jokes as a retort here, but I have a clean conscience in that regard.  You and yours have always overlooked this behavior and bought into the new improved jebus-lovin ben he pivoted too as a PR stunt.  Personally, I've never rooted for a known rapist, don't think I could do it.  But hey, maybe the combination of that "top 20% income" your tool ass offers up unsolicited to internet strangers makes you feel better when you're forced to stare at your micro morals in the mirror.

Good luck and hope you don't have daughters.

Agreed that it felt a little over-the-top at first but then I just laughed ThumbsUp

I was also wondering about his rape comments, especially since my friend, who was at Miami at the same time as Ben, mentioned how creepy Ben was and i thad me wondering how many more women/young women/girls he raped.

Oh spare me your moral high ground.

"I've never rooted for a known rapist, don't think I could do it" but you're a-okay with rooting for multiple hooligans who have brutally assaulted women on camera amongst other things. Convenient where you draw the line.

And excusing assault with the "she touched him first" excuse is akin to saying that she had it coming because of what she was wearing.

And lets not forget that all there is is a "HIGH probability" and some "I know a guy who knows a guy whose nephews ex girlfriend went to college with Ben" hearsay of what he's accused of, while there is actual video proof Bengals players pummeling women.

Also, ironic that you think that me offering up unsolicited info to internet strangers makes me feel better about myself, after inferring that you hold yourself morally superior because of the strangers that you support and root for on Sundays.

Your complete lack of self awareness is amusing.

You felt bad for a multi millionaire with 2 super bowl trophies that rapes women?

Whoa, getting testy a bit huh Chief? Why are you getting so mad at an "internet stranger?" You need to be more like Brad, he can take some back and forth jabbing without losing his s**t.
Lol, I can just see you hacking out this response and 1:20 am...

What was Chris Henry doing drinking with underage girls in a hotel room? Im sure it was purely innocent. Yeah, they were probably just playing euchre, that's all. Nothing suspicious about that. I'm sure that if the 15 year old had thrown herself at him, he would've resisted because he was a moral man. And he would never take advantage of a 15 year old because he was such a high character individual.

See, I can play the conjecture game too. Whomp whomp.

Also, what was Rey Maualuga doing driving around drinking with a 17 year old girl in the car? Bengals, alcohol, and underage girls seem to be a thing in Cincinnati. But maybe it was innocent. Maybe that was his niece and he was riding her home? At least he wasn't holed up in the local Motel 6 playing euchre like Henry was.

Stop trying to feel morally superior to internet strangers because the seedy criminals that you root for are not the seedy criminals that they root for. And stop tying that morality and your identity to a bunch of people who don't know you from Adam, and probably wouldn't p*ss on you if you were on fire. A lot of Steeler fans got caught up in this when the Bengals had their troubles years ago. It's stupid and you're only going to get let down, embarrassed, angry and defensive when they do.
