I wold not have wanted to be in that Defensive room after letting them come back from 29-0 at the half. Geeze. Oh well, TJ Twatt reinjured his groin, he's most likely done for the season.

I'm glad Pat Freirfuck choked... I hate the stupid crowd when he catches something. I thought that shit was over when Heath Miller went away...

I actually love central PA... some of the largest tracts of pristine land and forest in the state... and no big cities to ruin everything.  :)
The "biggest" cities are Williamsport and State College, and they're not too bad.

I'm in Berwick.. Pretty close.. My high-school is a 3 time national champ, but since coach Curry died the football team and town has went to hell.. We had the games of the century with St Ignatious from Ohio, splitting the games 1-1.. ESPN and everything was there in 96-97... Ragone was their QB at the time..

Vikings almost laid an egg in the end. I'm glad more AFC teams are losing to help our cause, the way it is now, many teams are still in hunt due to the pairty in the records.

I currently live in Lancaster and it's the best place in PA I've lived so far. I lived in Greentree (suburb of Pittsburgh), Rochester (yes, there's one in PA too), Butler, Uniontown and York. Lancaster is definitely the best both in terms of looks and the people and the looks of the people.

Yea, when I go out that way (mainly for the casinos) the populated parts of it look a bit "run down" - but I think some of that comes from being the remnants of the coal region.  The poconos are still beautiful, though.

Central PA is gorgeous, man... IF you can tolerate the lousy cold weather 6-7 months out of the year!   Tongue

I've been to Lancaster many times.  Love it there...

Yea, I was born in Cincinnati but have lived in PA for most of my life (50 years of age)  Thankfully (or not, depending on your perspective) - I was already a Reds and Bengals fan before I was transplanted here as a wee lad.

Yes, just glad the Vikes held on. Helps us a lot and really hurts the Stools chances, love it.

Now we need to take care of our own bidness and beat the Niners Sunday...

I'm from NYC, and never had any interest rooting for the Giants or Jets...

So, even if the Bengals did make it into the playoffs, how do you think this team would honestly fair in the post-season? I'd like to see for curiosity's sake, but this team seems so hot and cold this year I honestly don't know. At the very least it seems almost every other team in the NFL is also hit or miss this year.

Unless we all of a sudden get somewhat consistent I don't know anyone who can make a prediction if we do make the Playoffs.

We would have to look good for a bit to predict a win. I don't know what to think of this team, every time I predict us to lose against
a good team, we win. Every time I predict us to win against a perceivably weaker team, we lose. Screwed up year man. We could win
the entire thing or miss the Playoffs entirely for all I know.

I wonder how much of this perceived inconsistency is that the Ravens and the Steelers suck this year. We look like world beaters against them, but then fall apart against a lousy team like the Jets and get blown out by decent teams like the Browns and Chargers.

We hung with the Packers... Honestly SHOULD'VE won that one. I think the Raiders game was closer than the final score indicated, but we ended up handling them. I honestly don't think the Browns are very good either, but they mopped us because we somehow let Baker Mayfield look like an all time great every time we play them. I'm not sure the Ravens suck either. They destroyed the Chargers, and came back to beat the Colts. I think the entire NFL is sorta mired in mediocrity this year. Considering we were trash for the past 3 seasons, I'd say things are looking up.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
