we killed the raiders and then killed pittsburgh those 2 weeks

Played the Packers hard, beat the Lions, killed the Ravens... then lose to the lowly Jets, and get killed by the Browns. The momentum from the Ravens was lost going into the bye.

Mike White put up 405 yards. That was the most allowed all year.  And the Browns controlled the entire game from the 1st TO.

The Raiders were within 7 at the start of the 4th... where we put up 19 pts.

Some numbnut over there was talking about the effect the lake has on cold weather...

guess when your team has had the same number of hometowns as you've had stepdaddy's, you're bound to be terrible at geography.

bengals killed pitt and vegas back to back with run first approaches. That was the bengals ditching their slump over the bye

River effect snow is no joke either.

Yet, all these guys on the Raiders are used to excelling in the post season.

Shit, has Carr ever played in a playoff game?

Finally someone with a bit of sense

Quote:Burrow doesn't get flustered easily anyway. The more important thing is to keep them from popping big plays. That's where they thrive, and once they get rolling, it's a snowball effect. This is a different caliber QB from Herbert more akin to facing Mahomes. We just need to have a plan. This can't be first team to 35 because we'll lose. This was a close game the first time until they broke it open late. We did a good job against Burrow the first time though. If I recall, he didn't have that many yards. It was Mixon who broke it open, and Derek had an untimely pick.

I’ve always kind of felt bad for Raiders fans, which, being a Bengals fan, is saying something. It’s a lovable loser team just like the Bengals, and if we weren’t playing them, I’d be rooting for them.

They were good in the 70s-early 80s, but have been one of the only teams shittier than the Bengals since then. They’ve been shut out in the playoffs since they lost the super bowl to Tampa, and somehow, this is only the second time they’ve played a playoff game since then! They’ve finished with a losing record 14 of the last 20 seasons, going 5-11 or worse in 11 of them! They’re 121-200 over the last 20 years, only better than the Jags, Browns, and Lions.

Not only have they sucked ass, but their ownership just moved them from a city that always supported them (since the last time they moved, but also when they moved 3 times ago) for Vegas, a gimmick of a city. They have been loyal, and cosplayed as dirty goblins every Sunday for as long as I can remember (hopefully that tradition got carried to Vegas).

The first Bengals game that I ever went to was against the Raiders in 03. We lost, but they have been a dumpster fire ever since. You have to root for teams like this, just not this week.

Hi Raiders fans! We know you are watching us watching you! Just wanted to let you know that you are far more amusing to read than the Chiefs board. They were arrogant jerks.

But FYI to the guy who thinks things will be ok if you go up by 2 scores…the Chiefs led the Bengals by 2 scores 3 separate times. final score Chiefs 31- Bengals 34. You know that same Chiefs team you guys lost to by 27 and 39 points.

Never.

'16 had Matt McGloin (or was it Connor Cook?) starting, as Carr got hurt in week 16 or 17.

Derek Carr has had a really good season. Arguably better than Burrows.

You said "arguably," but using what measure? Carr threw for 200 more yards than Burrow, but with over 100 more attempts. Burrow had a much higher rating (108.3 to 94), higher completion percentage (70.4 to 68.4), and much higher average yards per attempt (8.9 to 7.7) than Carr.

And 11 more TDs in 1 less game played. But sure,  Carr is better than "Burrows". Rolleyes
