A 49ers SB rematch ?
#21
There's a great narrative there with this team and their SB history that would make that absolutely epic. There's also a great narrative if playing the Rams, pitting Zac against his team of just a couple years ago. And you know Whit would be disappointed to lose, but happy to see the guys finally bring one home. And against Tampa, all we'd hear leading up was the talk about Brady, and if the Bengals shut him down, it would be amazing (I also think that would be ugliest/lowest scoring game of any possible matchup). So lots of great stories no matter which way it goes.

Next week is going to draw a lot of attention as well. And I think will be a harder game to win than even the SB. On the road against either of those teams, AFCC. I'm pumped for another week of great ball!

I’m kind of glad he isn’t.

I love Green and Atkins and Dunlap and Dalton, but in their last years here, it sure as hell didn’t seem like they were selflessly going out there and putting everything they have on the field. They all seemed perfectly content to just play out their careers or cause enough discord and animosity to force their way out.

It was HIS decision.. Nobody forced him to seek "greener" pastures.. He became apart alright.. AJ Who?

As we’ve witnessed recently, you can’t count the Bengals out against any team at this point.Kansas City Chiefs come to town on a red hot streak, after winning 8 straight games. Most everyone had them listed as the hottest team in the league, and how much their defense had improved.Bengals put up 34 points on them and won the game.

Then the Raiders.Playoff game.Everybody was talking about how their DL matched against our OL.How Crosby and Ngakoue were going to shred our line. They were on a hot streak, and had won their last 4 games.Again, the Bengals took card of business, and won their first playoff game in 30+ years.

Before the Bengals played the Titans, they again talked about how the Titans were the #1 seed in the AFC.How they had the bye week and home field advantage. Then they talked about Henry returning, and how he would be ready to go full strength, unlimited. Then again the Bengals stepped up to the challenge, and won the game.

Now they are rapidly approaching the AFC Championship,1 game away from the SUPER BOWL.STOP. Pinch yourself. Is this really happening????

You should not lump Atkins and Dalton in with Green and Dunlap.

Geno played injured and out of position (NT instead of 3T) last year.  Even though they treated Dalton like shit he still played his with what he had to work with.  You don't think Burrow finished 24th in passer rating last year because he wasn't trying do you?

Amazing how quick fans are to shit on former players who did so much for this team.

I mean zero playoff wins is a lot. They played to their potential, which was make the playoffs 5 years in a row. That was nice. This team is breaking records left and right, clearly better team. Can we even list all the records? It'd take an hour to find all of them.

Preferably Bengals dispatch the 49rs to purgatory of losing to Burrow, but I'd also love to see him knock off Brady in a shootout or have Zac knock off the Rams.. Win/win/win either way..

Atkins and Dalton were perfectly fine playing out their careers here and showed minimal passion doing their jobs. Sugarcoat it all you want, but those dudes were used up, either physically, mentally, or both, and it showed.

I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

I would want the Bengals to play the Bucs or 49ers before the Rams. They are loaded and hammering the Bucs right now.
I will be rooting for the AFC team in the SB this year regardless of who wins it.

I'd love to see a SB vs. the 49ers but the Bills or Kansas City will be much tougher

Man... the Rams look good. I don't see any team beating them, as of right now, they've gotta be the Super Bowl favorites.

Great players on offense and defense, great coaching and Stafford has always been an underrated QB playing in Detroit.

Btw, maybe now people will remember that TB12 isn't superman and needs great teammates to succeed just like anyone else.

Or is it that the Bucs look bad?
