I can live with Carman being the starter. We invested a 2nd rounder. He was a good college player. With 4/5 the line being good, I don’t mind rolling w Carman and another rookie (1-3 rounds). However I think our focus now needs to be another edge player. But that’s a whole new discussion! I’m celebrating Collins!!!

I assume you are meaning weakest link at this point since RG and C were definitely the weakest links last season. I have not seen the actual rankings but I have seen it stated that Carman looked far better at LG than RG which could have something to do with him being comfortable on the left side of the line from college.

No. Spain is the one who totally whiffed on Aaron Donald on that last offensive play in the SB. If he had even just fallen down in Donald's way, Burrow may have had the second he needed to see Chase running all alone after Ramsey fell down. Spain was borderline serviceable. He can stay gone.

C was weak but it wasn’t awful. Carmen/Adeniji at RG were the weak links. Prince at RT as well. When Reiff was healthy, he was at Trey Hopkins level.

Finally, the saga is over.
Was I the only one who was hoping she would fall overboard when she stood on the railing to throw the diamond into the sea?

Woah 1 bad play from a decent guard against the best dt in the league and you completely sour on the guy? He was cincy’s 2nd best lineman all year
Bring him back.

Absolutely love this. This team is made of peope who are very self confident but don’t go about it in an arrogant way IMO. I love the mojo they all bring. Let’s get the season rolling already!

Really opens up the draft for us, I wouldn't be opposed to shopping the RD 1 pick for later picks in RD 2 to really improve the roster depth. Dream scenerio for me:
Bengals trade #31 to Jacksonville
Jaguars trade #33(2) and 106(4)
-Jaguars secure Their guy , while we have multiple guys were interested in and get an extra pick to boot, giving us #33, #63, #95, #106, #136 in first 4 rounds!!

If getting beat by Aaron Donald is the standard to cut offensive linemen, there wouldn't be any OL left in the NFL

Bad thing about LC though..... if we had him in the SB there is no way he would last the entire game. He has a serious lack of concern regarding ejections.
Especially when it comes to his QB, of course Von Miller would had been out too and in that medical tent next to OBJ.....
