The Steelers Are Good
#1
Tiger

Nobody will believe this but the Steelers will have a say so in this division. I don't think that they beat the Bengals in week one but I think that "They Are" The Steelers this season. Its the Steelers that we need to worry about especially if they get QB play. You heard it here first.
The Browns are "Fools Gold" ...The Ravens draft well but Lamar is setting himself up for Miami or San Fran.
Freebies we take

* I always have one eye on the Steelers*

You are like Fredtoast is on most everything …. on an island. Vegas and me think you are wrong. The Steelers aren’t very good. They may be the best last place division team outside the AFC West.

Folks are not going to believe this but the Steelers have been transitioning to being a trash team the last several years.

Yep they had no plan B for when the league removed the cheap shots from the game.

steelers were a one trick pony, intimidation by cheap shots and that style no longer flies in today's NFL.

The Bengals, a team that just broke a very publicly well known playoff win drought last year, has as many playoff wins this decade as the Steelers.

I'm not worried about the Steelers. They will be 4th in the division even if Watson doesn't play a snap for the Browns.

Also, you should be publicly shamed for putting this thread title into Jungle Noise. Shame!

Damn. You didn’t have to drag your nuts across the bridge of his nose. But thanks for doing it.

Steelers have a really solid set of offensive skill players with Johnson, Claypool, Harris, Freiermuth, and drafted Pickens and Austin. The defensive could be better this year if the linebackers step up with Jacks and Bush to stop the run. They lost a really good under tackle but drafted DeMarvin Leal.

Questions are how their young offensive linemen step up and if the couple of vets gel with them. Their Corners are kinda bla and of course QB. The Steelers are probably at least year away from being any real competition in the AFC North.

Running the best RB into the ground, and having the best WR in the league lose his damn mind at the same time didn't help their cause either.

I still hesitate to throw dirt on their grave just yet. They made the playoffs last year with a blob at QB. Decades of domination is hard for me to shake too. I need to see us pummel them a few more times. We're clearly the better team... I just need to see it.

I agree with this. I don’t think the ravens make the playoffs this year. They’re built for the future.

Cleveland it depends on Watson. Plus they can always Brown it up

Pittsburgh actually improved at QB and they also nabbed Myles Jack from jacksonville. They’ll somehow find a way to sneak in the playoffs

You’re having a Fred moment. Yes, trubisky is better than 2021 Roethlisberger. Ben was one of the worst qb’s in the league last year.

They aren't thrash sir not at all. The Steelers are a team with a top five head coach and an organization that understands longevity winning. To think that because the Bengals went to a SB that they'll lay flat is delusional. We went to a SB last year with no offensive line. Why can't they if its even moderate quarterback play? As I've said I think that we beat them in a close game wk 1.  Your not looking at the long game from 30,000 feet.

There's a lot more to QB than passer rating.

Trubisky will not be better than a 2052 Big Ben.

That linebackers coach is coaching and not playing.
The Steelers are going to be a good bet at the casinos.
We WONT sweep them or the Ravens this coming season.

Your absolutely correct !!
Its the offensive line stupid!
If you think that the Steelers don't have weapons then your walking on 75 either way.

I agree here too, although Ben’s best days have been behind him for a few years. I also think Pickens is supremely talented when healthy, and I was pissed when he went to them. Having said that , we should be a much better team.
