As shitty as they played the last two games . . . It's mind blowing that they pulled out a split to get a series win against a team of this caliber.

Castillo just threw 7 innings of 2 hit ball and 1 run against the best team in baseball. He is by far and away the most sought after player heading into the deadline.

I'm so hoping they get some great return for him.

I posted in another thread that the Reds should package Votto with Castillo. One way to get rid of Votto.

They're making the Cards look like the Yankees. Just brutal.

They just said Reds pitching staff have nearly as many pitches outside the strike zone as Cards pitcher has total pitches by himself.

UGLY Sick

Didn't think the Reds would go 5-1 against the Rays and Yankees

Today's game postponed and will be made up Sept 17. They get the Cards again at home next Friday after the AS break.

Well, the Allstar break is upon us. No Reds for 5 days. Maybe the Reds can use the time to rest up and get ready for a good rest of the season.

Reds back in action tonight against Wainwright. Tough way to start after the break. Hope the Reds finish the season decent.

Stephenson likely headed back to the IL. Took a foul tip off the right shoulder and went down in pain. Stayed in the game after the trainer looked at him. Goldschmidt then hits a dribbler in front of the plate and as Stephenson cocked his arm back to throw, he immediately went down in pain and never got the throw off. Came out after that. Hell of a way to start a game.

This means Stephenson might be out for the rest of the year. Now they need a catcher for the Castillo trade.

An extremely hot day today at GABP. Feel sorry for the fans sitting in the heat and especially if we lose. Reds can take the series and hope they do.
