VS Falcons:
2 sacks, they only allowed 2 QB hits, 3 hurries, and 7 pressures on 47 drop backs.
They also earned their season-high PFF run blocking grade (82.8).

Points allowed by the Bengals defense in the last 15 third quarters:
0, 0, 0, 3, 7, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3, 3, 3, 3, 0
that's 22 total points in 15 games

Bengals have not given up a 2nd half touchdown this season.

Bengals have given up 3 rushing TDs thus far this season.

Every NFL team Oline and defense can be better, but these units are not nearly as awful as you make them out to be.
wait i thought PFF was flawed when our numbers were bad is what so many posts said.. im not a big PFF guy anyway..... in the end we are still getting sacked more than we should.. on pace for over 50 again and we face the best defense since early in season... not confident we can over come the Browns def at their place

The Stains can run the ball and play defense. That combination will trip any opponent who doesn’t bring their A-game; this most likely won’t be an easy win.

This is why I gave up on fantasy years ago.  I got tired of rooting for players on teams that I hate just to get a few fantasy points.

**** that team.

My 17 year old daughter has been getting into football the last couple years and is, unfortunately, a Steeler fan (she lives with her mother who was a Bills fan when I met/dated her and somewhere along the way became a Steeler fan (to be fair, the rest of her family are Steelers fans and they all live in Western PA).

I talk with her about the Steelers and Bengals all the time (btw, she absolutely HATES Canada - the coach, not the country) and I play the part of the unbiased football fan in talking about the Bengals and Steelers. But I still hope the Steelers lose every game, Pickett turns out to be worse than Ryan Leaf, Tomlin stays HC for the next 10 years each year with a worse and worse record each year until the Steelers become the first team in sports history to have LESS than 0 wins.

Anyway, my point is that I. Hate. Sauerkraut. That's all I'm really trying to say.  Mellow

Just had sauerkraut last night, and my daughter would be banned from my house.  She'd have a better chance showing up as a vegan with a face tattoo than she would being a Steeler fan.

I just told her last night that the complaints she's currently making about the Steelers coaching staff are very similar to many of the Bengals fans complaints over the various Bengals coaching staffs of the 90s and late in Merv's tenure, as well.

Well, right now, they are 2 games back in the AFC North with 10 weeks to go.  That isn't insurmountable, especially if they can knock off Cincy and Baltimore loses to a Bucs team that looks all but dead.  However, a loss puts them 3 games back with 9 to go and that is pretty huge, especially if the Rats beat the Bucs as well.

Oh, I have no trouble saying it.  Every time they play the Browns, I want the Steelers to win, and humiliate the Browns if possible.  The only way I'd ever conceivably want them to win is if it were the last game of the season and their winning said game gave us a playoff berth we could not otherwise get.  And even then, I probably wouldn't feel good about it.

I understand, I just have an unhealthy hate for the steelers after them always having to cheat to win over the years.

At least the Stains don't win very much or have to cheat to win all the time. With the stool, it is blatant cheating and their
fans are just fine with it, and there are steeler fans throughout the NFL with the refs and even godell, disgusting to me.

Although the Browns are closing the gap with the signing of the d-bag predator.

Even guaranteed his contract, wow, just wow.

Yeah, giving all that money to that d-bag definitely raised the hate meter for me with the Browns. Also disgusting.

Um,, like I said, Bengals pass protection while getting better is still not good. When they face a strong pass rushing defense, it doesn't fair so well.

Browns rush the ball and rush the passer.  Not good matchup for the Bengals at all.

Where are your PFF numbers now?

What a sucky game this was but not that unexpected with the matchup.

So you come back after a terrible game to pull this cowardly pissy crap?  Still doesnt change the numbers when I posted them.  Most of us know that the Browns are a difficult matchup, you are no guru.  I hope you feel like you won a sticker or something with this childish garbage.

Yeah it was an ugly game. I kept hoping at least Chubb would score so I could win this week in fantasy and he’d light a fire under burrow. In the end I atleast won in fantasy this week—making up for my teams losing.

Watched the buffalo sabres beat my wings 8-3 last night and the browns dominated the bengals. Not a good sports night. This was the browns best game of the year and the sabres look really good with all their early picks from the past several years showing up.
