Adebowore has as much experience at DT as Murphy. He played on the edge in college with limited interior pass rush attempts same as Murphy.

Still 6 more rounds to address other areas…

That would have cost us our #1 and #2 picks this draft at minimum, on a guy who is a tremendous risk of being a bust at his size.  The AD comparisons are not as close as people would like to suggest when it comes to production and arm length.  Too expensive for me.

Kancey was a reach with his short arms. Didn't want him until the 2nd round as a prospect thought.

This isn't college.

Well, we will find out. Murphy has upside of Myles garret, that’s really high.

Would depend on what jonahs value is. But yeah likely too expensive. Was a dream anyways

Not me drafting Kancey is betting on a outlying rotational only player.

I like the rashan gary comp I heard, he's a good player. Anything close to garret would be awesome.

I also remember how awful our TEs were last year without Hurst on the field and the only change they made was replacing Hurst with a guy who missed more games in his first 4 seasons than Tyler Eifert. TE now is going to be an absolute drain on the offense's ability in 2023 anytime they're on the field.

It's only night 1, geez relax!

Both athletic freaks and I prefer not to gamble on mostly pure athleticism in the 1st.

PFF had Murphy as the 17th ranked player over all, McShay had him at 23 and Jeremiah at 21 so people were fairly high on him. Definitely wasn’t a reach and will be a real need position next year.

Everyone knows I was a Mayer homer, but it’s a passing league and our pass rush was atrocious, so I’m actually happy with the pick.

If he falls to us in two, I’m praying we take Mayer, but I wasn’t too upset with the pick.

anyone able to find the defensive stats for 2022 that showed % of snaps with 5 defensive linemen? Been looking but no luck so far
