He could just play him over Bates or Bell, but what he did have him do was learn a ton of different positions and roles in the secondary. I think Hill will be a bigger playmaker than Bates. I know Bates was huge in the 21 playoff run, but I could see Hill's speed and aggression getting more INTs.
I thought it was interesting how Lou commented about Hill that this was the first time he had to come off the field after just one play. He wasn't used to that, but I am sure Lou kept telling him he would get his turn.
If Hill can be what we saw in the preseason last year (I know, I know...), then I think it could be a pretty exciting year for him.
I think Hill will be better than Bell or Bates. I think Battle at some point will emerge as a solid starter. But I hate to be a party pooper but it’s going to take awhile and I think a lot under estimate how good Bates and Vonn were individually and together … with their chemistry
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.
