Orlando Brown Jr

This guy has been a disaster. Thankfully he wasn't 20+ million and accepted only 16 million per year. But still too much for this.

Dude is clearly dealing with that groin injury. He literally can’t anchor right now.

The only reason we have any semblance of a run game is because of Brown.

Wayyyy bigger things to be concerned about.

And what does the article mean when it states "since week 18"? We are currently in week 12.

I would assume that's going back to last year.

You did read that.... correct? 8 pressures last game alone for someone getting 16 million per year.

Our franchise is out for the year because of our line. And he is a major part of it. What other things are you concerned about?

Assuming these are PFFs "pressures" (and pressure is a meaningless stat in the first place) they always show many more than other sources - pressures are a subjective stat. Also Burrow's injury was not because of the line - Clowney hit him late even If that was the cause. He was not touched on the injury play (the TD to Mixon).

What part did Brown play in Joes injury?

It was Williams who let Clowney get the late hit in and when it snapped on the TD play Brown did his job in protecting Burrow’s blind side.

Has the line been shut? Yes but I put that down to coaching and the front office drafting wasters. But Brown has been the best lineman we have this season and don’t forget he’s playing next to a kid who is nowhere near good enough to be starting.

As for problems that need fixing before Brown how about everyone who throws a pass against us seems to complete it for 30 yards? Or the fact we’ve forgotten how to stop the run?

Brown is still on the same line that has been letting burrow get smashed all year long. He might not have been the reason on that specific play. But his pressures and sacks allowed have contributed to him taking the beating he has taken all year. PFF has him rated as the 52nd best tackle this year. Guess ya'll are seeing things through rose glasses and just hoping he's better than he actually has been since he's our shiny new toy on the line.

OB and Karras having to play next to Volson doesn’t help.

Was Karras playing guard before coming to the Bengals? No idea if it makes a difference or not for his rating.

Jonah’s their best lineman

You don’t want to hear that though

A lot of people were saying he’s way better at G than C when we signed him, and it turns out they were right.

Seems JW is different player when he is healthy.  Good to see.

Might just be better suited for the right side, too.

You can't base his worth on a couple of games, especially when you know he's playing with an injury.
