Plain and simple. Where did we get better: S, TE, possibly RB

Where are we worse: DT, CB, OT. What positions are more important? Our team will be worse next year, the only thing that will keep us afloat is if JB stays healthy.

Might as well just call it a year boys. Forget the draft and any other possible FA signings. Maybe we can trade everything for next years draft

If we were that bad then we would still be in the dumpster only winning a couple of games a year. You have to give the front office some credit at putting a solid team together the last few years. There was definitely a drought, but we've always found some stars every year in the draft, or added in FA. FA isn't done yet, and we have yet to draft. There's no reason to panic right now.

it's been bad. Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and the free agents have kept things afloat

Eight-time Pro Bowl OT Tyron Smith intends to sign with the New York Jets, per sources. The 33-year-old Smith is expected to go from protecting Dak Prescott to protecting Aaron Rodgers.

Good player. Jets got one of best LTs in NFL. Only gave up 1 sack last year. PFF 84 Only 3 penalties. one-year contract worth up to $20 million

Yep. Works if just use the https:

The lead, I guess, is: "Bengals in really ugly territory here. Those classes are historically bad."

Contract details on this will be interesting. My guess is around $6-8m GTD and the rest are playing time and team incentives. This dude is hurt A LOT.

I really don't agree with it. We got a few solid players in the 2021 and 2022 draft. Chase, Ossai, Mcpherson (2021) and Hill, CTB, Volson. 6 starters in 2 drafts isn't that bad. Chase, Mcpherson, CTB and kinda Hill are all very good IMO. Saying those two drafts were horrible is kinda BS PFF does.

Lol... alright

think about the 2 worst starters on the o-line last year. Yep, Volson and Jonah. The ones they drafted.

Now let me think about the best players on the defense the last 2 years. Hendrickson, Bates, Hilton, Reader, BJ Hill.... Im sensing a pattern here

our best players not named Burrow Higgins and Chase are the free agents.

The drafting IS terrible. Dont try to deny the data and facts

The facts are the bengals use the draft to fill for future needs, instead of instant needs. Case in point, Dax Hill hardly played his rookie year, so he didn’t have any impact in 2022. That’s going to lead to a low score. Same for 2023- Murphy, jones, Andre, brown. If the bengals actually drafted players that they intend to play, this could look different. It’s hard when a player is going into year 3 and you’re still not sure what you have in him.

Lets look at our 2021 SB starting roster, but only the people we drafted

Burrow, Chase, Higgens, Boyd, Mixon, Uzomah, Williams, Hopkins, Adeniji, Carman, Hubbard, Wilson, Pratt, Bates, Huber, Mcpherson. That's a decent amount of our roster that was drafted, even though some were not super good.

Idk.. it’s chicken/egg for me. Unless you are a rockstar, our rookies get buried behind vets, which hinders development. This has been a problem well before Zac got here.

Still was a starter on our SB run. That was my point. The team doesn't draft horribly, because about half of our starters were drafted by us when we made the SB. What team in the modern era has almost all their own drafted players.
