Win 14. Good game by Hunter Greene. Good close by Diaz.

Get to Win 15.....15 x 6 = 90

I would LOVE 15 wins or more in April.

Good to see Greene had a dominant start.

Greene looked good today. FB was crisp and he was dealing. We need him to string together some quality starts, maybe today starts a streak. It helped that we finally got him some runs to work with!

Reds win again today but almost gave it up. Reds need to win tomorrow to take the Rangers series.

Yes it's great that Greene actually had a quality start. Because he hasn't done that well up until now. Hopefully this game can get him going. Nice to see India not stinking at the plate also. Again maybe that will get him hitting again?

GREAT....turned on pregame...It shows Reds have 15 Wins.....GREAT.... You have to set monthly goals. Hopefully add to it before April ends. Then start on 15 wins in May....GO REDS.

I didn't think that it was possible but there are still three MLB teams that have struck out more than the Reds.

288 Seattle
285 Boston
284 Oakland
279 Cincinnati

But, Boston and Oakland have played 29 games and Cincy and Seattle have only played 28.

Sooooo, the only team that has struck out more times per game than the Reds has swept them.

David Bell is the Frank Pollack of Reds player development.

Yep

If you took the last bit of 2022, the first few games of 23, and so far this season and combined them Lodolo is I'd say right there with the best pitchers in MLB for those games. He's standing alone at the top of our staff right now.

Just crossing fingers Greene can continue improving and Ashcraft and Abbott can keep being decent.

Lodolo, when healthy, is our best pitcher and it isn't close. His ability to make hitters look silly with the backfoot curve is becoming legendary amongst MLB fans in general, not just Reds fans. Lodolo has become one of Rod Friedman's (a twitter user who likes highlighting and doing overlays of nasty pitches) views each week.

Look at this one in particular.

Insane. They look exactly the same until you're already swinging the bat.

I am minorly concerned about how far his flyball outs go when hitters are able to make contact, with flyouts of 348, 368, and 398 last night (in addition to the 370 ft HR in the first), but that just may be his cross to bear. In a smaller park, he may have given up 1 or 2 more HRs.

In his previous start, similar story with fly outs of 357, 339, 330, 332 and 342 ft.

This may be fairly normal and I'm just overthinking it, but opposing hitters do have a tendency to give his balls a ride before arriving in a glove haha.

I'm old and have watched A LOT of baseball greats back thru the years. Rose, Bench, Morgan, Larkin, Davis and so on. And not just Reds, Reggie Jackson, Ricky Henderson, Kirby Puckett, Wade Boggs, Tony Gwynn, and the more recent guys such as Jeter.

And I don't think I've ever seen a player who truly has it all at the same level Elly does. Speed, power, quickness, arm, athletic ability. The guy could truly reset the record books.

Lodolo continues to look way better than I expected. What a nice surprise.

With that Benson K, now 6 of the 9 guys in our lineup are below the Mendoza Line. Oof.

Yep

We're only 10 games from the quarter pole and this team slump is quickly becoming a trend. We have three regular players batting .250 or above. Steer .252 DLC .279 Fraley .293 and he's not really a regular. I's getting bad!!

There are only three teams with a worse team BA, we're tied with Cards for 4th worst.

Lets hope they rebound in May
