That probably isn't near as much as he thought he would get.

But good luck Tyler Boyd when not playing us and hope he does well with the Titans.

Bengals (and League) must have really thought Boyd had nothing left in the tank.

Bailey a Cardinal.

Sucks seeing Bailey go, I wish him luck and continued good health. I think we go light at LB roster-wise this year, provided Pratt and Wilson make it out of TC healthy and ready to go.

I wonder if those two signing today help us get a comp pick or two

I'm pretty sure signings from May 1st and beyond no longer count towards comp picks.

As of now, the Bengals are projected to get no comp picks for the 2025 draft.

Would have gladly re-signed Boyd for 1yr/$5m.

Earlier in the offseason if you told me I could either have..
-Tee Higgins for 1yr/$22m
or
-Boyd for 1yr/$5m + a 2nd round pick for Tee (T'Vondre Sweat, Cooper DeJean, or Zach Frazier?) + $16-17m more to spend on FAs?
.....The latter in a heartbeat.

I am totally uninformed on the rules.

But I do know that, atm, OTC has us losing 3 qualified FAs (Jonah, Chido, Reader) and signing 5 (Rankins, Brown, Stone, Moss, & Gesicki).

The first 3 cancel each other out. So even if Boyd does count, we still would not be getting comp picks. He'd just cancel Moss out.

Former 1st round pick William Jackson III is at the Titans Rookie/try-out camp hoping to show enough to receive a contract offer

Wonder if he ever learned to play zone?

Reader and Jonah are possibly comp eligible. Chido and Boyd not so much.

OTC has Chido, Reader, and Jonah as our comp eligible FA losses. Click the link I provided.

They also have us with 5 eligible FA signings: Rankins, Brown, Stone, Gesicki, and Moss.
