Cuts worth a look

Cut down day is tomorrow and some teams have already begun. List who you'd like here as they are cut.

Former Bengal great Will Grier was cut by Philly, many thought it was a mistake keeping Browning over him. I could see him over our current #3

We need to be down to 53, correct?

We do need to look at QB3.

Believe Will was poached off our Practice Squad...

I like him better than Woodside after his last couple poor games. I would bring back Will Grier.

We need a thumper RB, an End and a Nose Tackle IMO.

I'd love to bring back Perine if he's cut.
Having 3 quality backs would be great.
I believe the Giants had a great 3 rb trio at one time that was very successful.

I really think it's going to be Lions, Bengals in the Super Bowl.
They've constructed their team similar to ours with a less dominant but healthier QB.
Their defense has great potential if they improve in a few areas.

Their duo at RB is amazing. Their skill position is stacked with an elite TE, WR, RB and a WR with elite potential.
Great oline.

Bengals need their oline to finally gel and become dominant/healthy.
Need a more complementary running game out of shotgun and passing sets as well as running formation 2 TE sets.
Overall the biggist factor is the play calling has to keep the defense guessing.

Seems like only yesterday Wyatt Davis was a top-rated prospect coming out of OSU. 3 years, 5 teams, and 9 games later he's still available after being cut by Clev

Right? It was hilarious how many people wanted Woodside to be the #2 and declared him better than Browning after the first pre-season game.

Obviously I wouldn't mind seeing Samaje Perrine back with the Bengals. It's also looking like Jeff Wilson will be cut by the Dolphins, he might be worth a look. He's got decent hands and 4.5 ypc lifetime average.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I think we need to look for a goal line RB, Hunt is already a FA. I like Perine also, just not as much on the goal line.

We also need to be looking at DE and DT. I would love a great pass rusher for 3rd down and long. Hubbard, Trey, Ossai and one more proven vet. Ilike the kid from Mississippi, just not sure he is ready to contribute in year one and hopefully we can get him to the PS.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

I'm sure Siaki Ika will come up because rhe Browns just cut him but I liked Jaquelin Roy last year. Vikings give up on draft picks fast.

I think I saw Matt brieda was cut. I’d take a look as our rb 3-4 and possible return man

FWIW, a good place to track cuts:
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-roster-cuts-tracker-2024-full-list-of-every-teams-moves-as-53-man-deadline-approaches/

If Bilichek was still with NE I could easily see us going against Mike White week 1.

I was a huge fan of Ronnie Harrison coming out and usually do pretty good w/ DBs, but I blew that 1

Tre Flowers is available, our D was better w/ him

Joshua Kelly is a big RB w/ a nose for the End Zone. His senior year in college he was #2 in the PAC-12 for rushing TDs. Guess who was #1.

I wonder if they spotted anyone from the joint practice teams that they were interested in, or if there is some gentlemen's agreement that they won't poach from each other if they agree to practice due to the inside info on the players (that they get from the practice, that teams would otherwise not have privy to).

The Bears could cut DE Khalid Kareem. He made some plays when healthy (Broncos game).

Would we do a pick swap with Denver for Perine?

Keep an eye on Detroit. They have a lot of OL and DL (specifically DT) depth and can't keep everyone.
