Ouch.

Volson got manhandled. Grade of 41.8. Only 11.0 in pass pro.

I only saw him get beat by Jones on the play Burrow fumbled. Not sure what they are looking at...

  1. Mike Gesicki - 72.3
  2. Joe Burrow - 67.1
  3. Erick All - 66.9
  4. Alex Cappa - 65.6
  5. Trent Brown - 61.7
Bottom Five Offense (Min. 25 snaps)

  1. Ja'Marr Chase - 57.5
  2. Ted Karras - 57.2
  3. Andrei Iosivas - 55.3
  4. Trenton Irwin - 47.4
  5. Cordell Volson - 41.8 (11 pass block grade)

I'd assume AD-G didn't get the minimum snaps.

Also why my boy Yoshi so low. I get he only had 2 catches for 7 yards, but he was stopped from gaining more yards by the End Zone each time.

and just like that, Volson fanboys go back into hiding. Biding their time, just waiting for Volson to put up a grade above 55. A cause for celebration

It's because you are of such profound wisdom, Frank Booth. - SunsetBengal

Had me scratching my head too. Considering our pass protection held up well the scores don't make sense.

Remember the "We have the deepest WR corps I can remember", crowd?  Yeeeeaaaahhhh... about that..

Wonder what the excuses will be for Volson this week from the Volson supporters?

Well as someone who was/is we have the deepest wr group. We haven't got to see it with Higgins healthy. That's probably more what I meant was the supporting cast to the main two is better than we've had in awhile. But they are still a supporting cast.

Trent Brown bounced back big time.

I think Erik All is what Drew Sample was supposed to be.

I just want to know if Jordan Battle hit on Lou's wife or something? Why is 7th round rookie Daijahn Anthony getting snaps over him? Covering Kelce and Rice.

Nah, he played bad and got owned by Chris Jones a bit as a lot of players do. But he needs to play much better than that.

His inconsistency is staggering. Best player in the first game according to PFF to the worst player the next game. Ugh Sick

On the 2nd Yoshi TD Erick All owned Karlaftis in pass protection, he might be better than Drew Sample at blocking and is certainly
better than him as a pass catcher. I think we might have a special player here. Sample is one of the best blocking TE's in the NFL,
but even he will struggle trying to block Ends, let alone one like Karlaftis who owned Trent Brown multiple times.

Different style of players.

One is a box Safety the other is a Nickleback/Free Safety who specializes in man coverage.

I do think Battle needs to play though; especially over Bell.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

I know injuries are uncontrollable. But the depth and lack of talent on the dline was a glaring issue. We haven't had the two rookies but what can we honestly expect from them. We should've signed Reader and gone in a more affordable direction from Rankins.
