Panthers Game Notes

First off, WHO-DEY!

First win of the season!

Being a hopeless optimist when it comes to this team, here's hoping we can turn the season around!

First off, I thought Mims played a hell of a game against Clowney! He had one bad play that resulted in Burrow's interception, but it was a hell of a game outside of that. I'' happily take that.

Chase Brown's a good back and will have a hell of a career. Hopefully he'll be more involved. Moss also looked pretty good.

Carolina's defensive line isn't good, but we took care of business.

Burrow looked mobile and amazing.

Jenkins looked amazing and let's hope he keeps it up and it sparks the rest of our defense.

Bell looked good in his revenge game.

Wasn't impressed with Volson.

Taylor-Britt also played a bad game.

Let's hope we can keep the momentum going!

What did you see?

You missed Eric All.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Eh. He really was not in the game plan and also made a huge mental mistake.

Against one of the best lines in football I think Ossai and Hubbard actually did quite well getting close to Andy.

We now who was at fault today CTB and Stone were awful can add Pratt to the list but at least he had a PBU towards the end.

If we get Jackson and Murphy back next week adding in Hill and hopefully Trey things could look drastically different.

We said this a lot last season but we aren’t dead yet.

I thought CTB looked like a safety playing cornerback.

I wrote in another thread as follows:
Tee Higgins dominated the first half. They couldn't stop him.
All is the all-purpose complete TE he was advertised to be pre-draft. Caught balls, blocked and opened holes for Chase Brown.
Mims is the plug-n-play and monster we need. They couldn't bull rush or speed around him.

The difference in this game was the goal line stand in the first quarter, and the two TDs sandwiched arounf half-time.

Otherwise this game was flat even. Statistically it looks identical.

CTB is my biggest disappointment, this year. Hope/expectation vs. Performance is way off for me. The man has one Bengals highlight this year and is the supporting actor for every other team we played.

No idea what the hell has happened with him. I always thought injuries would be the only thing to hold him back.

The announcers eluded to the fact he may be playing through injuries.

Probably not a good idea to run your mouth, if injured.

*****

When the announcers are speculating if he's sick or injured or something, because he's doing so poor, then, yeah, Taylor-Britt was standing out as someone having a bad game.

Just happy to see our first win of the season and it looks like our Defense isn't SO bad and that maybe, just maybe Jayden Daniels
is THAT good. Thanks for some notes Brad, going to watch the game now as there was no way a Wyoming boy was going to be able
to see this game over a Broncos game. Will be back with some notes in a bit. Wink

Yep and yet, JB seemed to shine better with more pressure and being thrown around like a rag doll.

It’s like he played w a chip on his shoulders.

With all of this talent on O, and more time to throw … he should be having a record year.

Especially now that the running game is clicking a bit as well.

That, or these receivers can’t get open.

Don’t get me wrong, JB is having a decent year but I assumed he would’ve become Tom Brady with time to throw.

Before that, Chido not bouncing back from injuries upset me. Our secondary stallions become donkeys so often.
