Odds are his next stop is PS - they had to return him before doing anything else.
Robbins returns from IR - nobody freak here

They had to bring him back because he was put on IR on cut day

This ultimately ends up being for a roster transaction technicality I don’t currently understand right?

We better keep rolling with Uncle Rehkow.

Is there a worst 5th round pick of all time? Brad Robbins the punter?
It's because you are of such profound wisdom, Frank Booth. - SunsetBengal

The Bengals drafted Battle with the 95th pick and Robbins at 217. Still not so great of a result as far as Robbins it seems. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Yeah, quite the drop off from college where he was All Big 10 three times, and had the second-best punting average in Michigan history, which stretches back to the 1870s. I wish him better luck with his second club, if I'm being a bit presumptuous.

They aren’t going up against anyone so it’s not like the competition is bigger, stronger, faster, like other players have to deal with when they make the jump.

What are you losing if Robbins didnt return? You are correct Robbins was designated as a return when he was put on the IR but even at that time many people were questioning the wisdom of using one of those IR return spots for such a bad player. We only have 5 spots now for the rest of the regular season. Im guessing Rankins will miss 4 weeks and normally would have been put on the IR to make room for another player but since we only have 5 spots the Bengals dont want to be limited to 4 the rest of the season so they are keeping Rankins inactive. Using one of those IR spots for Robbins was bad decision making on the Bengals part.

When is the last time we came close to not being able to bring anybody back from IR because it would be player #8?
