Yeah.....until he ended up on the Ravens highlight reel by being stiff armed by Lamar Jackson on his was to the TD pass. He will have one or two more good games, maybe.

Look at y'all out here acting like Lamar is an easy tackle. That dude is slipperier than wet anti-freeze on a 30-degree road. Why not post a huge picture of the safety he got?

I thought he played average at best, and I’d lean more towards bad. That safety he went untouched. He didn’t do anything special, expert tackle Henry.

He got stiff armed once, maybe twice can’t remember, by Lamar Jackson as he throws an unscripted TD pass late in the game. That was sad. Yes Lamar is good, but come one, a 260+ lb DL should be able to tackle a qb when you have your hands on him.

If you take away the safety that any any player could have made, did he really play well?

He was 2nd between Hill, he needed a solid game, been struggling hoping can stay healthy and play consistent rest of year.

But at least Hubbard is looking healthy finally. This Defense needs to learn how to make a stop for heck sake.

I too thought Sam had his best game of the year, of course, the bar was quite low.

Agree he has struggled for sure , but  also think he has gotten a bad rap on the board , when you look at his career since coming into league is in top 10 in league in sacks for De, pretty solid against run and is a warrior in playing with injuries and pain.  he probably should have went on IR last year and still think he was not 100% this year. Lets hope he can match this game with next few, we are in dire need of better play on Dline

PFF had him as our 2nd highest-rated defender. No idea why some in here are trying to crap on him. I think they just get stuff in their head and cannot get it out.

And then they post a picture of a second or two after Lamar juked Hubbard, like he does every player in the league, and Hubbard on a second last ditch effort to get to him gets stiff armed as if Jackson punked him on the field. And never mind he's recovering from a hamstring injury, just put him on blast.

Lamar had a day also, something like 350 passing and 55 on the ground. Our defense let him, though.

That Hubbard pic hurts. I wonder how many stiff arms Lamar has given in his career.
