Alvin Kamara
#1
Not sure if has been posted or discussed, but apparently the Bengals have thrown their hat in the ring along with Dallas and several other teams. He's getting up there and has a big cap hit, but I like that the team is swinging for the fences.

Kamara has asked to be traded.

Ill take players we should've drafted over Joe Mixon for 1000 Alex.

I really wanted Kamara back then. He's pretty long in the tooth, and hasn't been all that effective on the ground lately.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

That would mean completely giving up pretending Zac only wants good guys to maintain "the culture".

We need IOL, OT depth, CB help, and pass rush help (DE & DT) a heck of a lot more than a high priced RB.

I saw the tweet claiming this...followed by multiple tweets from Alvin Kamara saying he never asked for a trade.

At least Mixon was actually good. We drafted Ryan Finley in the 4th round with Maxx Crosby still on the board.

That just means that 30 other teams passed on Crosby also.

Trading for Kamara:

Pros:
1. more chances to scream "AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!" than usual
2.

You know what, I'm sold.

It makes our running room better but I think we have more glaring needs.

Even taking Crosby out of the equation, Finley was a terrible pick, in an overall terrible draft class for the Bengals. Dude isn’t even in the league anymore.

I don't understand why anyone would think this is an option. The Bengals aren't "A top RB away...." Jeffery Simmons from TN would be FAR ZMORE INTERESTING to trade for and acrually.makes some sense. 27, major position of need for the Bengals, possible to fit under the cap with some effort.

Buddy, they can't. His contract is INSANE and would put the Bengals nearly $20Million OVER the cap. The Bengals would have to trade Higgins to the Raiders for Crosby just to make the cap stuff work.

Yikes! That would have been a nice get.

Never forget that we traded up for him, so it actually took THREE draft picks to get Ryan Finley. Lol

Yep... Our lack of a NFL caliber scouting department really showed itself there.
