Zac's Prevent Offense

Always take a win, but the offense has not looked great in back-to-back weeks, along with Zac's annoying philosophy.

6 minutes did seem too early to start ticking away at the clock.

I will take the W, but want to see both the offense and defense have a dominating performance in the same game.

Zacs team is definitely underachieving but I don’t disagree with him running it there.
Kicker needs to step up and be the weapon he used to be.

Also, Zac is terrible but believe it or not there are coaches coaching worse than he is. As Bfine pointed out the Bengals were going against one of them today. Thanks for not playing your best QB today….

I didn't mind it today as much when it just over 4 minutes to go, up by 15, and against that offense they had seen. But I didn't think Mac would miss either, so going forward that needs to be considered.

That being said, I am not a fan of being conservative like that when it becomes a trend and predictable. And this offense still needs to get better at putting games away with great play calling and execution, so today would have been ideal to practice that so to speak.

Not to be an excuser for him, but he was looking right into the sun on that kick.

Way too much time on the clock, and their defense was not letting us run the ball.  Your comment is BS, I dont criticize just because I like to, if that were the case I would comment multiple times a week on your low IQ takes, but I dont.

This wasnt the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd time Zac puckered up at the end of the game.

Yeah, but it began long before the 4 minute mark. That is my issue.

Yes his philosophy backfired terribly. We were the last 1:00 game to finish.

You mean the takes where he inserts the Ninja emoji, and are meant to be critical about other posters?

You gotta wonder sometimes, "what if we had belichick?"

I bet we'd be awesome. Serious coaching problem here

Always plays to lose. He's the worst play caller at the end of games BY FAR!!!

Where are the "easy" plays?

Screen passes, jet sweeps, etc.?

We don't do any of this stuff. It's all spread, let burrow read the D, and throw. I'm not even sure we went under center this week.

This offense just looks so different week to week.

Screen passes.  We were good at screen passes on 2021 and the Rams were the worst at defending screens that season.  We didnt run one screen in the Super Bowl.... yes that still bothers me...

His play calling overall is maddening. Constant drop back--statue style--passes. Simply won't run and stick with it. Never is aware who is playing well, who isn't, what is working and what isn't. It's absolutely maddening to watch him continue to call this offense.

Why oh why oh why can't get get his grubby little hands off the playsheet and let his coordinators call plays so he can watch the entire game so that he can see clearly what is and isn't working play by play.

So freaking maddening.

Well my low IQ tells me it is not smart trying to close out a game where you're up several scores with 6 minutes left by throwing against Denzel Ward, Grant Delpit, and Greg Newsome. You have to be aware of your opponents strengths and weaknesses.

We finally got a win in Cleveland. Yes, it was ugly but it is a “W.” Now let’s turn to Philadelphia who comes to Paycor Stadium a week from today.

I mean getting the ball to Chase Brown in space should be a priority. No idea why we don't scheme more easy plays up to do this for him.

Retorting with the argument that the Browns defensive backs are very good is much better than making a total dishonest statement that I simply like to complain.

Had you done that, we could have debated the utter failure of our run game today and the fact that the Browns DBs have not been good this season, with both of us making reasonable justifications.  However, you chose to make it personal as if any criticism of Zac results in your feelings being hurt..?

I would love that — but La Famiglia Brown would have to relinquish lots of control.
