***Week 11 Gameday Thread (SNF) - Bengals @ Chargers***
A true Taylor team. Aside from Burrow and Chase continuing to do the great things they did in college, we wouldn’t be just the better of the horrible teams. Now back to your regularly scheduled “remember when” posters.

I was surprised that the box score showed only 3 sacks. He was under constant duress. Maybe some of the sacks had been wiped out by penalties.

And then Herbert barely gets touched and falls down and gets roughing the passer. One time he got a slight push and collapsed to the ground for a penalty and one was immediately after he released the ball and even the announcers said what Hendrickson did was legal, but "roughing the passer."  Maybe Burrow needs to take acting lessons. I think Mahomes could teach him a course in the offseason.

Are you counting last night as a win?

This teams finds a way to lose. IF McPherson hits those kicks, the defense probably gives up a 60 yard TD pass. They fold when the pressure is on.

A missed kick here. A missed tackle there. There were receivers wide open that Herbert just missed.

I don't see it getting better next year. Chase will get a fat, new contract or he'll hold out. The front office will pay him and rightfully so, leaving even less money to spend on defense. Even if they tag Tee again, he's a part time player at best. Burton, so far, seems to be underwhelming. Myles Murphy is underwhelming also. Trey will demand more money and/or threat to retire. He'll get more next year, leaving even less to spend elsewhere. We have to hit on draft picks next year and we might have to burn one of our picks on a new kicker. Maybe it is time to blow it up and start the rebuild. Should keep Burrow, Chase, Hendrickson,Brown and Rehkow and get rid of everyone else, including the whole coaching staff. We all know that's not going to happen though, not with this front office. The Bengals broke the internet last night and even killed Jungle Noise.

Sadly, I kind of figured this

Oh well, at least CTB being out there should translate to a better draft pick.  Unless they give Ivy a shot.

Kind of an ouroboros thing.

I love this franchise. Hysterically dysfunctional since the beginning.

We have largely the same front office running things since the 90's. Some changers here and there, but Browns family.

I dont think Dobbins scores if Mcpherson hits 2 field goals. Defense gave up once LA got in easy fg range. Just like the defense gave up after mcpherson missed in ot against baltimore in cincy

Of course. Typical Bengals thing too. They bring a guy in and he shows promise and suffers a season ending injury almost right away.

It's tough as most teams have young draft picks in the pipeline ready to play. We don't have good ones.

Trey likely is going to hold out. Didn't he ask to be traded this year?

It's hard to say. This team finds ways to fold.

The Baltimore game for sure was a McPherson fg away from us winning.

Last night, I don't know. Our defense tends to fold at inopportune times.

Speaking of the offense: Moved the ball quite easily in the 2nd half until the score was tied. Then, couldn't score that TD to take control. McPherson is a problem, but he's one of many.

do you think burrow gets fatigued towards the end of games due to constantly getting hit and having to play superman?

We have 3 MVP level players in Chase, Burrow, and Trey. When healthy Higgins is good too. Then, we have maybe a handful of average to above NFL players.

The rest of the roster is below average to bad. Every single one of them not in that 1st Group.

I’m used to seeing us losing in primetime it almost became a running joke with Dalton.

That cowboys game in a couple of weeks can deffo piss off regardless of what fancy Simpsons CGI shit they do with it.

Oh the Dalton primetime years, now that was a lot of lost sleep for nothing.

Get us UK Bengals back in the 6pm slot, where we belong.

They are 0-6 against teams in the playoffs, giving up 35 points a game.  There is no silver lining.  They have lost every close game. Good teams win those and bad teams lose those.

Yes but even with a very suspect defense they're a few "offensive" play calls, a couple missed FG's and a couple terrible no calls from having 7-8 wins.Every team minus Detroit right now has issues, some more than others, whether it's offense/ST's/ defense. The D did not lose last nights game.
