Weather or not Zac Taylor is feeling the heat from the FO, after this season's implosion at least the media is screaming for Zac to get the axe.

Joe Brady, offensive coordinator, Buffalo Bills
Bengals fans know all about Brady, one of Burrow's masterminds behind the LSU title run. Now, he's getting his stock raised by dialing up Josh Allen's offense in Buffalo.

Ben Johnson, offensive coordinator, Detroit Lions
Johnson has quickly established himself as one of the massive names in the upcoming cycle. He surprised by returning to the Lions and is simply orchestrating elite attacks once more.

Aaron Glenn, defensive coordinator, Detroit Lions
If the Bengals wanted to go the other direction, the Lions have one of those, too. Glenn gets tabbed as a player's coach who produces elite, hardnosed units. Losing Aidan Hutchinson hasn't really hurt his unit.

Kliff Kingsbury, offensive coordinator, Washington Commanders
Kingsbury isn't the typical former college coach, considering he won a playoff game and got a second contract. His offense for Jayden Daniels has been impressive, suggesting he can scheme up well to his player's talents.

Jesse Minter, defensive coordinator, Los Angeles Chargers
Get used to Minter's name. He's coaching the NFL's best defense for the Chargers with scraps and parts cast off from other teams while starting rookies at the boundary corners. That's important, given the so-so talent acquisition of the Bengals lately.

Mike Vrabel, personnel consultant, Cleveland Browns
Vrabel went all-in on his run-first and gaudy defense in Tennessee and wound up running out of steam. Yet, the Titans are miles worse without him. His hardnosed ways, paired with actually having an elite quarterback and offense, might just be the perfect fit.

Bill Belichick, former head coach, New England Patriots
One can't really talk about this without naming Belichick. There's just one big question -- would the allure of coaching a player like Burrow override what he understands about how the Bengals are run from top to bottom?

I would respectfully suggest to Mr. Roling that you can in fact assume ZT is safe, no matter how bad the "spin out" gets.

ZT has the cushiest job in the nfl.

He will get let go when there’s no where else to go for the FO, assuming the FO doesn’t shut everyone out

If major changes don't happen after the season I'm dropping Sunday Ticket after 27 years of having it. I've held onto it because of the miraculous 21 season, but I think I'm about at that point of "no mas", It's just not fun watching games anymore. Terrible officiating, terrible players, terrible coaches, terrible playcalling, terrible execution. I'm all for parity but not parity that has literally been assured by officiating & gambling. I miss the days of blowouts of bad teams.

I wish we could land Bill B. He always puts a top defense out there and knows how to scheme and with the fire power on offense with Burrow and Chase I know we would win a SB. He always made sure Brady had a good line in front of him. 

Problem is, I don't think he would come here and deal with the Brown family way of running things, and also the Brown family would be too cheap to pay him what he would want because they are about money first and foremost over championships. 

We should fire him and make Press Taylor the HC.

The only way it works. Bill takes less than market (but way more than Taylor makes), bengals justify the move by giving him HC/GM role.

Bill only takes the haircut, over market, bc he wants to prove he can win without Brady, as Brady did without him. This is about the best possible chance to make that happen, due to burrow.

Bill doesn’t need the money, he needs to fix the narrative.

Bill solidifies himself as the GOAT, even though he already is (like Phil Jackson). Burrow becomes his Kobe, to Brady being his Jordan.

The one who can force Taylor out is Burrow. They’re all in on him.

I'd like to see what a Mike Vrabel led team with an actual franchise QB might look like.

That said, they won't fire Taylor with a top 10 offense.

The Bengals will always seek unproven head coaches or coaches that don't have a SB win. They are always cheaper to sign and eager to make a name for themselves even knowing how the Brown family runs things. Was it Bill Parcells that said  "If you want to hire me to cook the dinner then I get to chose the ingredients." But the Bengals way is to ask for a full blown steak dinner and hand the head coach a bag of Aldi's frozen rice.

They simply refuse to give up total control and Goodberry is correct when he said coaches here are trying to compete in the NFL one handed because of a tight fisted front office. The list of bright eyed new young coaches will always take the Bengals HC job because it is their shot at success only to learn most doors are closed to them in Bengal land.

You all are deluding yourselves. Like him or not, Zac Taylor is not going anywhere. Mike Brown knows the challenges when you change coaching staff. Face it, even with a halfway decent defense we probably already have 8 wins, because the offense is humming even with the injuries. I think Lou might be on the hotseat, it all depends on how they view the performance vs. the injuries. Probably be some position coaches changed, but that's about it. If ANYTHING happens to Taylor, it would at most be Brown telling him to give up the play calling and turn it over to Pitcher. But yet, there again, scoring points is not the issue. Keeping the other team from scoring has been the bane of this season.

I like TLL's thought on Mike Vrabel as our next HC if we fire Zac. Don't think we will fire Zac, but I think Vrabel would get us back to
being physical in the AFC North on both sides of the ball. Bring him in and let him pick his coaches and we might actually start out the
season faster and have a decent Defense and a running game to compliment Burrow and Chase.

I guess out of all the guys listed, Vrabel makes the most sense. But we all know Zac ain’t going anywhere. I think what would be a more pertinent list would be a list of possible DCs and OL and DL coaches.

Vrabel would be my first choice. BB is old and would want control they would never give him. Vrabel and a good OC would do wonders for this team.

Or they could just give Burrow total control and hire Joe Brady to be HC.

Of course our wish list will change dramatically between now and when Taylor is actually let go in 2030…

Everyone knows how I feel about this Nickelodeon background character, but I know he is not going going to get fired, no matter what some may want.

Maybe he steps down to spend time with his family after being accused of inappropriately touching a sea otter or something.
I don't know....just so disheartening.
