I like the Vrabel idea. He seems like he was born to coach in the AFC North.

He managed to get a 1 seed with Ryan Tannehill as his QB.

I still doubt that Zac goes anywhere. The family despises doing the work that goes into interviewing and hiring a new staff.

People realize Vrabel is only available because Tennessee did not want him anymore, right?

Idk if this holds up anymore.  After year 1, Taylor got a couple of legitimate hauls of defensive free agents.  Many turned out to be really impactful.  Outside of a couple of odd Jackson Carman type picks, I think Taylor and co have had plenty of control over drafting as well.

Also, they rebuilt most of the o-line in FA.  They've struggled, but they've brought in what looked like solid RT veterans that just haven't stuck.  OBJ was the best OL on the market and in his prime when he came here.  That's something that you would never have seriously considered happening in the Marvin era.  I couldn't believe it when they signed him.

The final roadblocks to personnel legitimacy for this team are a scouting dept. and guaranteed money.

I'm not big on Bellichick.  He's 72 years old and seems a bit out of touch.  I'm unsure whether or not "football at gunpoint" is what we need to fix things here.  It might actually make things worse.

My point is, it's easy to become enamored with somebody, while not taking into account someone else had him in the same position and fired him. That's why the same coaches keep getting fired and hired. If we were going to replace Taylor, I'd rather take an OC somewhere instead of someone else's cast off. I seriously don't think Reid would still be at KC without Mahomes. Just like Belicheat getting fired when he lost Brady.

Yeah, that's one way of going about it.  The main pitfall of hiring a young OC is understanding if they can manage an entire locker room and staff or not.  Taylor is pretty good at that aspect of the job.  It might be his best attribute.  Not all young guys are going to be like that.

the media is not screaming for Taylor to be fired..certain individuals in the media are..Taylor is not going anywhere nor should he..there needs to be some changes  and fine tuning  and there will be I would imagine
