Im not sure how to delete a thread, but mods feel free.

This team is mind numbing right now.

There was an internal issue this week and it is pathetic.  So many unserious players on this team.

What's the point of making a thread to talk about a thing but not actually saying what the thing is or giving anyone else an idea of what the hell you're talking about?

He's probably talking about Burrow being the only one who came in on the bye week to do any kind of work.

After bye week needs to really focus on winning going forward and everybody to stay healthy and consistent.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Well that doesn't sound good and I find it hard to believe.

WTS, I'm sure there are some players who have cashed it in.

I would bet MANY have cashed it in. This coaching staff lost the players a while back and I think it's gonna continue to get worse until they do something about it.

I'd hate to think that. I've heard too many times that the team has quit on the coach. But who knows

there has been nothing indicated by anyone that would remotely suggest that the coaching staff has lost the players..and the team continues to play hard

It's the bye week they still have a lift schedule but are pretty much free to reset the their minds/bodies. People shouldn't underestimate to value of what a few solid days off work can do for a person's psyche.

If I had the money in my mid 20s like  the players do; man my ass would have been in Bahamas on Wednesday morning drinking a Shirley Temple! It's the Bye Week let they haven't had a break since July and are going to be working on the Holiday season!

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Well, in fairness, that could be on the mast of this message board.

There are fans still talking about the playoffs. I’m worried about finishing last in the AFC North again.

This team is actually more baffling than worse than we think. Despite the issues on defense and despite the issues running consistently they have only one blowout loss this season. They've lost 5 games on literally the last drive all of which were one score affairs. In past years the team found a way to make that one play at the end to get the W - this year they are the opposite. That tells me the team culture has malfunctioned and if that is true then Zac has to go as the HC sets the culture.

Browns have 4 one-score losses.
Patriots have 4 one-score losses.
Bucs have 4 one-score losses.
Bears have 5 one-score losses.
Giants have 5 one-score losses.
Jets have 5 one-score losses.
Jags have 6 one-score losses.

Heck, the Texans are 7-5 and have 4 one-score losses.

If everyone won their one-score losses, there'd only be 3 teams left in the NFL with a losing record: Panthers, Raiders, and Titans.

That's the NFL. Losing those one-score games isn't why you're unlucky or baffling, it's why you're a bad team because that's largely the difference between good and bad teams in the NFL with it's parity. Only 3 of the Chief's 11 games have been decided by more than one score. They're 10-1 because they're a good team.

It IS baffling. As I noted in prior seasons they usually found a way to make the play at the end. This year it has been the opposite; they find a way at the end to give up the game winning play. So the team this year has been the opposite of clutch.
