Agree with Joe. Seems like there's a lot of guys we can't count on. Our Defense looked like total dog shit. I won't throw shame on a rookie in his learning stages though.
Clock management was atrocious. That's all on Zac.
Overall, our offense put on a good show. But it's tough to win when your offense gives up 40+ pts.
I hated the play calling a lot tonight. This dink and dunk shot hasn't worked and it never will. Why do we keep on doing it? I get that some plays don't developed as expected, so you have no choice. But a lot of that BS was called in.

Tired of this same old story.
In 2010 we lost a bunch of close games and the Packers won a bunch of close games. They won the SB and we blew up our roster. Close aint always close.

We're 4th in the NFL for points scored. We're 31st in the NFL for points given up. -5 scoring differential on the season.

I was at the game so didn't get to hear the TV or see from too many angles but was that false start they called on us legit or was our guy drawn offsides by the defender moving into the neutral zone?
It looked like encroachment to me, but what's left of my brain was frozen to my skull at the game.

On the bright side Jamarr passed former Bengal great Eddie Brown on all time TD receptions list. Just 3 more to pass Houshmanzadeh

Even during the glory years of a few short years ago, Lou's D was bend don't break and opportunistic. That is all gone now.
He needs to go this week.

For Zac Taylor to say we were within 1 score again is bulls**t.
70% of games in 2023 were within 1 score. That is not a positive, but a fact of life.
There is no consolation for being within 1 score. And it no reason to praise the team for its effort.

Even during our SB run I felt we were winning in spite of Zac not because of Zac. I came around a little during out AFC championship last season was a wash due to Burrow's injury. This year confirmed my suspicions all along Zac is a bottom 5 head coach in this league we get someone other than him we may have a shot.

He'll do that next week in their loss at Dallas.
Also on The bright side, I don't have to cheer for the Browns tomorrow night.

At least we know we wont be saddled with Romo again anytime soon. We are firmly entrenched in Spero Dedes land for the forseeable future

Seems like a move Mikey Boy would've made when the Board's were still hosted by the official Bengals page

Don't understand trashing the offensive play calling, if that is what you are doing. Pittsburgh went into the game 3rd best of 32 teams in terms of points allowed with just 16.9. The Bengals put up 31 points on offense. Now your description of the defense was spot on.

We get the Simpsons next week which somehow seems fitting the way the season has gone. "D'oh!"

I have never wavered. Took the heat, but still think I was correct all along, sadly.

Very clear encroachment, drawing a reaction from the Bengals, as noted by the announcers. Clearly a penalty on Pittsburgh. A big deal, also. Bengals would have had a first down and likelihood of scoring points and ending the half. Instead, Pittsburgh was able to end the half by scoring points.
