PFF Grades - Week 13 Steelers
#1
I've never seen a defense this bad. It really is something. And I remember the Marvin/Terrel Austin defense that was HISTORICALLY bad that got him fired after week 9. There are literally two guys on this defense that I'd be fine with being on the team next year.

It shouldn't surprise me how often Kris Jenkins is the 2 gap NT but it does. He's been good too... Just gives nothing as a pass rusher. Mediocre Bull Rush and a solid spin move is all he has it seems.

Well Rankins has been missing.

I'm fine with Jenkins. He has room to grow and is at least giving you quality fotball play. Not sure that's what you want from a second round pick but it could be worse.

That question for me is do we feel comfy with him taking over for BJ Hill next year? I think I'd be OK with that IF they get another GOOD interior guy (cut rankins) to play along with him.

McKinley Jackson looks like another bust, with a 39.3 PFF grade so far this year.

Big time reach because we "needed" a NT after whiffing in FA, and that reach only compounds itself because the guy sucks and we will need to invest significant FA $ and/or draft capital there next year.

Good players that are "luxury picks">>>>>>>>>weak prospects at a "position of need".

Yep there's maybe a half dozen I'd keep. Basically most of the rest can go.

We need a massive influx of help on D

The entire unit should be humiliated. Each and every one.

I thought Yoshi had a pretty nice game, his grades reinforce that.

My favorite part of the game was CTB celebrating for 5 minutes after making a tackle on a 6 yard gain. Absolute clown show.

He's been watching old Artrell Hawkins tape.  Explains why he's not worth a damn, too.

McKinley Jackson with a 27? They'll still need to sign a vet FA at NT.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Want to Shout out Amarius Mims. Stellar game against one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. Bengals have a great set of bookend tackles.

He has a good play here and there, but most of the time is kind of invisible.

Brown being so bad too.

Really we have no actual Good offensive lineman. Yet Burrow plays at MVP level.

Kid deserves a shout out for being one of very few bright spots this year.

For a rookie, he's had a good season.

Interestingly, Jonah had a good rookie year. Then, stopped developing and regressed. Hopefully Mims continues to improve.
