***Week 18 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Steelers***
York proved me wrong, I was predicting a miss, he did mighty well.

Pickens with 1 catch for 0 yards is a huge story line.  Many have predicted things are going to blow up between him and their FO, and that is the type of stat line that could light that fuse.

And considering he sits between 2 sub par guards Ted Karras quietly had a good season

I would love to see the Bengals put Mike Lee at center and move Karras to LG. Ford can play RG. That being said, the way the Bengals call plays, often with 5 eligible receivers, puts any o-line in a lurch....and Burrow at risk for injury.

Yet I did, and I do.

Yeah I think this spells the end for the son of the disgruntled Bengal in Pitt.  Like father like son

It may just mean it dropped us out of a top 10 pick. Nothing more. We’ll see.

I don't know much about Bosa but I don't hear much from Watt.  The only thing he does, that is somewhat flashy, is that sack dance of his

But I agree. He had a nice season. I was only half wrong about our TE’s after the Pats game. Wink

You ended up being lucky. And any putz could have said, after the fact, that they predicted it.

How awful would this defense be without him?

He's the hands down favorite.

He is the league sack leader and accounted for 50% of the team's sacks.  Those two items are the types of things that are the very definition of the award.

KC has dealt with a significant emergency and are pretty much flustered and out of sorts and routine going into tomorrow. Any hope they’d show up was stuck on that tarmac they were just able to get off of.

If draft position is so important that you're better off losing a game with the playoffs on the line, draft position isn't going to fix you.

I’ve never been moved by the dead cat  bounce. Not only does it hurt draft position. It influences the FO to think maybe they aren’t far off and changes may not be needed. When in reality they still are.

Come April when our favorite players get picked before 18 these wins won’t be as meaningful.

Now if they make the playoffs then all bets are off.

Credit the defender for making it a tight window.

Lol. An inch high? An inch lower and it hits the DB.lt hit him in the hands. He'll be the first one to tell you he should gave caught it.

Look at the replay again—it could have been half a foot lower because the defender wasn’t looking. But 1” lower and he can get a full 1”-1.5” of his fingers on it and catch it.

Looking at the video he maybe got .5” of his fingertips on it which is dropped everytime unless the receiver tips it to himself.

I think everyone understands that no matter how this season ends, much work is needed in the off-season. Going 4-8 in the first 12 games when you should have gone 8-4--or better--tends to have that effect. If their attitudes are right, they'll draft well no matter what their position. They're going to need more than just the draft to fix the o-line and defense. They're going to need a FA haul like before 2021 season.

Again, trust me it was a perfect pass. Got both "hands", not one hand or just finger tips, on the ball and it went right through his hands.
Great throws also depend on their players to make plays by "going up" and get the baĺl where only "they" can make the play.

To say I hate Germaine Pratt’s game is a vast understatement. His effort is spotty at best and his coverage skills are nonexistent. If he isn’t cut, I’m liable to pick a new team (ok, that’s a slight exaggeration).
