Way Too Early Pan Me Mock 1/9
#1
Warren has been oft discussed, and most know the drill on him, already. Bottom line, kid can line up all over and projects as one of the few difference makers on offense in this draft class. Defense is more of a "need", but years down the road, you're not going to regret giving Joe his Gronk.

Walker is a guy I've mocked before, so I won't belabor the point on him. Put this 3 tech in a NT's body in a solid rotation, set him loose on opposing QB's, and watch him eat like he did his sophomore year.

Overton is raw when it comes to his technique, but he's got the five things you want out of an Edge rusher, size, athletic ability, power, alignment versatility, and a motor that doesn't stop.

Popping back into Penn State again to nab Warren's teammate in Singleton. Singleton isn't going to wow anyone with ankle breaking open field moves, but he's got bell cow size, soft hands, and great awareness in pass pro.

With both Ford and Brown due to be FA's, T is looking a bit thin, so I nabbed Cornelius as a developmental prospect. Kid has good length and athletic ability.

Pegues is another board fave after spending the year as the forgotten man on a stacked Ole' Miss DL. Still, he projects as a run stuffing NT that has enough athletic ability to potentially become more down the line.

I never really paid attention to Pegues until I noticed him in the Ole Miss bowl game. He's a baller, and they weren't afraid to line him up at FB when needed.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Firstly, pretty bad form to attempt to thread jack by posting your own mock in someone else's thread...

Second, that's a pretty bad mock.  Williams is Myles Murphy 2.0. Savaiinaea would be about my third choice for an OG that may be available in the second, not to mention it's a bad class for OL.  Burch would be a decent pick.  Double dipping on G's in a bad class means we did nothing to address the position in a FA class with a number of quality starts.  A 6th round S makes no sense when we already roster three on rookie contracts.
