Yep, as always UGA is stacked on D. They also have arguably the best Safety (Starks) in the draft.

UND:
Rolling w/ the original 3:
WATTS/S
CROSS/DT
EVANS/TE
UGA:
JALON WALKER/LB: We ask a lot of our LBs and Walker can do it all. Has the size and skillset of Micah Parsons
TATE RATLEGE/OG: Would you use a mid-1st RD pick on a dude who has pro-Bowl potential and will be your starting RG for the next decade?
SMAEL MOLDEN/LB: A different LB than Walker, Molden is a typical off-ball LB, will Walker offers more playing on LOS.
I'd certainly add Malaki Starks (S) and M. Williams(DE) on Georgia's D. And both Fairchild (LG) and Wilson © on their OL.
No way would I take Ratledge Rd1. I like Fairchild slightly better. For me those guys are Rd3-4. Wilson Rd4-5. Watts is a Rd3.
Starks and Walker, I an RUNNING to the podium in Round 1 if either guy is there. But I doubt either will. Though I worry vanilla Lou wouldn't utilize either guy properly.
Williams is a high ceiling but lower floor guy. I like Scourton better in Rd1, but his ceiling is lower.

Is there any argument on Starks as the best safety?

Jalon Walker is really good but he would replace Germaine Pratt at stack OLB and Joker.

Notre Dame up by 10 at half. ND defense without 2 starters including possible 1st round CB Morrison.
Walker looks very good pass rushing from both left and right side. Watts has shown he can tackle in space.
As a ND fan, I know Georgia is a beast of a team and will not quit. Great talent and maybe best coach in college football Kirby Smart.
2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Ratledge is a 2nd rounder currently don't really see him dropping and Fairchild is a borderline 4th rounder. I think Watts is way to good to last long.

I think that JJ Pegues looks like a player that would fit in really well in the AFCN. With Nolen getting all of the primary attention, I hadn't really taken much notice of Pegues until last night.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

He only played about a quarter and a half. They were running stunts upfront to confuse the Duke OL so he spend alot of time looping to the outside similar to his game against Georgia.

bfine did not say Watts would be drafted higher. He said Watts outplayed Starks last night. As I said earlier, Watts is a very good college safety who is fast and a sure tackler (he showed it last night with several one-on-one solo tackles.
Starks will be drafted higher. But the funny thing about the draft, guys drafted later end up being better pros. How many QB's went in front of Mahomes for example?
We may get Watts against Tyler Warren next week. ND may use a CB mostly on Warren, but I could also see Watts covering him at times.

We pick back up tonight with The Orange Bowl: PSu v. UND. Some new names to look at:
PSU:
NICK SINGLETON/RB: Chase looked very good this year, but we could use a big-bodied back to be the thunder to his lightning. Nick weighs in at 6'/225 lbs. Is he big and slow? Only if you consider a 4.39 forty slow. So he's big and fast, must mean he's not strong: Dude max rep on the bench is 425
UND:
MITCHELL EVANS/TE: Admittedly, I haven't followed him much, but I'm intrigued by what I've read. He's big (6'5"/260) and reads as a good inline blocker. I like linemen with a wrestling background, and I like TEs who were QBs. Evans was a standout HS QB and has taken some direct snaps at UND

He's made a lot of clutch catches in the last 2 years.

I like what I saw tonight. Dude played everywhere from inline to out-wide covered by a CB.
DraftBuzz has him their 17th ranked TE w/ a UDFA status. I said it the first time I saw him. I must be missing something. He was THE offense in the first half for a team going to the National Championship Game.
The PSU RB looked good too

If you or Jpoore says something, the opposite is true.
