With those picks next year if they get a half decent QB we could be finishing 4th in the division real quick.
Definitely. They took a 3 tech in the Top 5 that only had 9 sacks in college.

Either way it'd be entertaining. They either do that and have the #83 overall pick QB who will somehow threaten Aaron Rodgers so much that he'll refuse to sign there...or they don't draft a QB and Rodgers uses that to hold them hostage and make a bunch of extra wacky demands.
More likely they roll with Rudolph and win 9 games and lose in the wild card round yet again.

You are going to think I am crazy, but I’m going to let you know my true prediction with respect to Shedeur Sanders:
He goes undrafted.
There are a lot of people in NFL boardrooms who still hate Deion Sanders. This draft is not about Shedeur. It’s about his father.

Reminds me of those defending taking Drew Sample in the 2nd, rather than trading back and selecting him later. I don't have a problem at all with selecting Knight. I have a problem with selecting him so early in the 2nd. I can't believe they wouldn't risk moving down 9 spots to get Knight -- where odds are strong he would still be available -- and pick up the 99th pick in the draft. But you think that would be stupid? An extra pick at the top of the 4th round?

Undrafted? Ehh, if he's available in the 6th or 7th round any team would be wise to take him, play him against 19th stringers in the pre-season and wait for some desperate GM to lose their starter.

Safety? Guard? Take Jared Wilson at Center and kick Ted Karras out to Guard?

If they had taken Ratledge in 2 and Knight in 3 I'd have been cool with it. It's the same bad habit of them locking in on players to the total exclusion of any thought of how to get to the same place in a more advantageous way.

Nice to see someone put their picks out there, not surprised it was you
If they put 15 guys out there, then when 1 hit they could not whine like a 3 year old
I like Burch also and could live with Sawyer, just worried too many DE"s
Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

Oklahoma State LB Nick Martin was just drafted at #75 to the 49ers.

Knight would not have been there, Martin was picked prior to our 81st pick

I would not mind a trade back of 10 picks to get an extra pick here
