Something went way wrong with last years draft. People can scroll back and see the message notes. We were having a hard time getting Yahoo draft to start. League Manager got us in just in time, but some peoples spots were not right.  The League Manager tried to compensate them by adjusting their waiver spots.  It Was A Mess.  

So Yes, by all means, if some are going to trade spots, get this nonsense over with at least a week before we draft so that this years draft goes more smooth than last year.  We almost didn't get to draft last year.  Please, lets get everything set and locked in on Yahoo at least a week before we draft. Nobody has to make a last second draft spot trade, that is just petty and stupid.  Lets get that nonsense over with way before draft day, so that the problems with Yahoo Draft don't happen again this year.  The main thing is on Draft Day the Yahoo Draft Room let's us in with no problems like we had last year. The worst would be that we gum it up with last second nonsense, and we don't get to draft at all. 

To me it's silly that we select draft spots in May or June, but then some want to trade spots minutes before the draft in late August,  That's just silly and last year Yahoo almost didn't let us draft, but League Manager got us in just minutes before 7 PM draft.  Lets simplify it so we can go in, look at the draft room, and be nice and ready to draft without the chaos of Yahoo not letting us in draft room last year.  I think last second changes caused this, and they are not needed. We can get the Yahoo Draft room set a week before we draft.  We've had months for people to trade draft spots. 

Barring some major backlash. The draft is set for Wednesday August 27th. 7:00pm EST. bfine, make sure I have that set right.

Sounds good.  Also I like your idea of setting it all up on Yahoo on 20th the week before. After that nobody gets to trade draft spots, no exceptions.  Having Date, Time and Draft Order set a week ahead on Yahoo should make everything run smooth. Also no Rule changes after 20th.  Lock everything into Yahoo week before.  Yahoo locked up on us last year, and I don't think Yahoo likes last minute changes.
