Shemar Stewart is now Zac Hillers highest paid client, currently doubling the 2nd highest paid (jk dobbins, DEN) The list after that is truly a bunch of nobodies, most of which are names ive never heard

Yeah he had more yards, but i would almost certainly bet if jamarr and tee were out all year and yoshi was our wr #1 all year, he would definitely have more than 1100 yards, and his touchdowns would at minimum double those of flowers. Stop... Iosivas is a nice lil player for a late round pick. He's not in the same ballpark as Zay Flowers. TD totals are irrelevant.

Unfortunately Flowers is a player you have to forget all the stats because he's tied to Lamar. Lamar is a great overall QB but he has his limitations as a passer. I've had Flowers in fantasy so I've watched him a fair amount and he's talented.

I dont know. Lamar has seemed to continue to grow and improve as a passer. But he still seems to find his favorites and not really spread the ball around as much as an mvp QB should in my opinion.

Lamar is a great QB for sure but he gets a ton of help in the running game. If you try to shut down the passing game then they kill you with the run. You try to stop Henry and they get broken plays. Lamar's biggest strength is be able to take advantage of a balanced attack. You know 90% of the time Joe goes to the line that ball is going to be in the air. Teams dare us to run and we still sling it 40+ times.

Did you just say TDs are irrelevant when evaluating a WR… ? I hope youre kidding Im sorry, look im not even a yoshi fan. But flowers is a scrub. You cannot ignore the 4 tds as a #1 receiver. If you really dont think touchdowns are an important statistic then im not even remotely interested in debating with you. I hope youre kidding Ja'Marr Chase caught 7 TDs in 2023, the same amount as Gabe Davis and less than Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Jakobi Meyers, Brandin Cooks, Jordan Addison, and Courtland Sutton, among others. So yes, basing the belief that a 2nd year >1k Pro Bowl WR wouldn't even be our #4 WR and is "a scrub" off the fact that he didn't have enough receiving TDs is hilariously bad take. ____________________________________________________________

It's a lame attempt to try and save face when everyone knows Stewart's agent Hiller didnt know what he was talking about. All this complaining to the media, acting like an ass, having his client miss camp time was because of getting 500k 4 months early on a contract worth 18.97 million total? That is ridiculous. Hiller just had no clue what he was doing. ![]()

Lamar is an MVP caliber QB for his all around game and his numbers say he is near the top in the traditional sense as well. I haven't looked back at the Bengals games so perhaps its a bit of the same but 18 of Lamars TDs came in 4 games last year. I still stand by my point that Flowers is hurt in that offense from what his #s could be. Im not the biggest Lamar fan so I may have been to quick to say its his QB play.

Sure jamarr had a bad year, he had browning throwing to him half the year as well. But 7 is almost double 4. I dont care if you think this is a bad take or not, but having 4 tds as a #1 receiver with a pretty damn qb throwing u the ball all year is just terrible. If you really think thats a bad take then idk what to think. If you put yoshi in flowers spot last year, hes going to murder those numbers that flowers put up. Thats facts ![]()

Julio Jones had seasons where he didn’t put up many TD’s at all. In 2017 he put up 1400+ yards but only had 3 TD’s despite starting all 16 games. And that was with Matt Ryan as his QB only a year after winning MVP. Your Flowers/Yoshi take is ridiculously bad. ![]() ![]()

Lamar is a top 5 QB with his overall game. But I dont think he makes players better with his arm. Maybe its just the Baltimore offense but you could probably put Flowers on just about any of the top 10 QB teams and I think he puts up better numbers.

WTF....This is a thread about Bengals signing #1 Draft Pick. Why in the heck is this changed to talking about Baltimore and Flowers. This is a great day, Bengals signed their Top Draft Pick, and all you people on here are talking about is Baltimore. The name of the thread is : Stewart is signed. Baltimore and Flowers doesn't have a damn thing to do with Stewart signed.
