Jermaine Who???

So, who is Tinsley going to replace on the roster, Burton or Chuck Sizzle? Chuck had some nice catches last night and is our return guy. Tinsley made some monster catches. Where's Burton? (yes, I know he's supposedly injured)

Burton probably is on the outside looking in today or at least on the bubble. Tinsley certainly will be on a 53 somewhere after his big night with his catches being praised on national tv, and then after the game Burrow saying he 'certainly hopes so' when asked if Tinsley makes the roster.

So Jones is returner & had  a really nice td  from Joe, so he is in imo. Yoshi is in for sure as Tee & Chase, so that's 4 wrs. Tinsley would be 5th. And if they go 6 will it be Pryor or Burton?

He'll likely replace Isaiah Williams. I think it's likely they carry 6 WRs. Chase, Higgins, Iosivas, Chuck, Burton, Tinsley.

Neither. They will roll with 6 WR’s.

Chase
Tee
Yoshi
Burton
Jones
Tinsley

Neither. They'll keep 6.

Anyone think there's a chance they go with 5 receivers after signing Fant? That's 4 tight ends with Gesicki, Fant, Sample, and Hudson. And Gesicki is a hybrid, more of a WR anyways. Do they usually go 3 or 4 tight ends on the 53 when they have 6 wrs on it at same time? I don't know tbh.

We can’t keep all those TE’s and 6 receivers

Come on man...Charley Jones is going nowhere.

Tinsley looked good enough that I'd be fairly surprised if he get cut. Who goes instead of him???

I’m a Isaiah Williams backer as that dude has some serious wiggle. If they don’t keep him on the 53, I hope they can get him to the PS because as good as Charlie Jones can be, he’s likely to get injured at some point in the season and I don’t want to see Perine as a returner. Keeping 6 WRs seems like the path but probably 4 TEs. From my perspective, Drew Sample needs cut yesterday. I’m not sure he’s faster than anyone on the o-line or d-line. Sure he’s a great blocker but Fant can easily replace him while being more dynamic. Sample being that open and not getting in for that goal line TD was ridiculous. He needs to run just beyond the line so the catch makes it a TD. He also needs to be faster so Burrow can throw sooner. The DB made a great play but it’s only because Sample has the speed of a sloth.

Zac has zero zip loyalty to Burton. I’d imagine Burton has lost his teammates especially in the WR room & Joe.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Most likely, neither. We usually keep 6 WRs. Jones is clearly WR4 and can return punts and kicks. Tinsley is a lock and Burron is probablt WR6.

The 6th WR would be kept at the expense of: TE5 (Grandy), OL10 (Cochran, Kirkland, McLaughlin, Lee), DL11 (Cedric Johnson, R. Johnson  I. Thomas, Bryan, Cross), or LB6 (Giles-Harris, Heyward, Njongmeta).

I think we are locked in at 2 QB's, 3 RB's, 6 CB's, and 4 S's.

Edit: now, I would only keep 5. Gesicki/Hudson are de facto WR's.Ceryainly Gesicki. I'd cut Burton, but ZT won't because doing so will mean admitting it was a huge friggin' blunder to take him in the first place. Which it was.  In typical Bungles fashion they were trying to find a way not to pay Higgins.

Yeah, after looking at things, Burton may last just because this offense is likely going to be Burrow carving up defenses every week and pass catcher body count helps that.

That being said, if Zac sneezes, Burton better be the first one with a "Bless you" and a tissue.

Well, if Joe gets a vote, Tinsley is going nowhere because "You can trust him" and Zac said "He does what you want, he shows up and goes to work".

I wonder if they can say that about every WR currently on the squad.

WTS, I think potential earns Burton 1 more year. Maybe we only go 3-deep at RB and use the 4th TE there as H-back on certain plays

Well I wouldn't think so either, but the dude better find a way to stay healthy. I would think Burton would be the one to go.

Nor do I think we should. We have our 5 receivers, plus Gesicki, Fant and Hudson who call all catch. I would think they would better use that 6th WR spot on the O-line or D-line.
