You know it's Chase, so enjoy Barkley, Gibbs, or JJ.

I don't either but it doesn't matter. I have my system in place. That system has alternates built in, so no matter what anyone does, my body is ready.

I did a mock last night and ended up with Bijan, and, Jonathon Taylor at RB.

This year, i bet i've put you to shame on the mocks. I've done multiple, every night for the last week+ and even a couple during the day at work. Big Grin

Dont get me wrong, not my first choice but not terrible.

I'm reallllly skeptical on him in year 2.

My big issue in the past has been not valuing the bench enough. I had a new "strategy" last year and it worked out well for the first 10 weeks. I was 8-2 but when Evans went down and Cooper stopped producing and got traded, it bit me in the ass BIG TIME. I had no one to turn to on the bench to make that up. That's why i was hard and heavy trying to make trades last year. This is the mock i did last night.

1. Bijan Robinson (Atl - RB)
2. Brock Bowers (LV - TE)
3. Tee Higgins (Cin - WR)
4. Jaylen Waddle (Mia - WR)
5. TreVeyon Henderson (NE - RB)
6. DeVonta Smith (Phi - WR)
7. Baker Mayfield (TB - QB)
8. J.K. Dobbins (Den - RB)
9. Deebo Samuel (Was - WR)
10. Rachaad White (TB - RB)
11. Rashid Shaheed (NO - WR)
12. Denver (Den - DEF)
13. Geno Smith (LV - QB)
14. Quinshon Judkins (Cle - RB)
15. Ka'imi Fairbairn (Hou - K)

I would run to the bank with that team. Very good balance, IMO. The only part i goofed on, and realized it as soon as i clicked was, i should have taken TE2 in rd 14 instead of Judkins.

Yea I'm not even sure Judkins plays this year honestly.

I've also learned very few times do my mocks resemble how the actual draft falls at all.

I do them mainly to see where guys are ranked and get a feel for that stuff, I think its Friday or Saturday that the rankings get updated on Yahoo so itll be interesting to see whos rankings rise and fall the weekend before our draft.

As for Bo Nix I actually like him but honestly with where hes going now I don't think the value is good enough to make the pick with the guys going after him that will probably have the same production at the end of the year, I think he got too hyped up and got a bit rich for my taste. Still think he will be a good player just maybe not so much better than guys going multiple rounds after him.

Yep. It's been interesting to watch as players position changes. First week, Bowers was always gone by my second pick. Lately, Ja'Marr is there at #2 (won't happen in our league) quite a bit and Bowers is always there. Also given me a chance to see who's available and where, when trends change and guys rise or fall.

I don't see how anybody could beat that team. No point in the rest of us even playing the season if you draft them.

It's a nice team but don't ever sell short, the ability of the game of Fantasy Football to rear it's ugly head and screw me over 3 ways to Sunday. It's right there with death and taxes. Big Grin

I looked back at last year for me and the people I had favorited in some random list was just nothing but bust, I might have favorited 1 guy that actually hit.

It's a miracle I did as well as I did last year, might just pick guys I dont like this year.  Hilarious

That thought has crossed my mind a few times in the last couple weeks, for the exact same reason you state. Big Grin

Trying to find some type of rhythm or acceptable path drafting from the 7 spot is hard, "Uhm Kay". Lol
