Cam Newton Pulling Race Card
(02-10-2016, 12:20 AM)Essex Johnson Wrote: Just wondering are you actually being paid by the cam fan club ?  your analysis is so out of reach with reality

Nope just pointing out the obvious.

Nothing has been said or shown why he gets scrutinized more than others who have done the same.

And I'm not a fan of Cam. I've criticized him many times. Just a fan of what's right.

This isn't just about the medias criticism of Cam.
After the Super Bowl the Bronco players took shots at Cam calling him a selfish player and criticized his dancing bullshit...players who happen to be black, so take your race card and stick it.

If Peyton had lost he'd appear at the press conference in a suit and tie and graciously answer questions, not cry like a baby and leave like Cam did. Cam has got a lot of growing up to do.

Sorry since I'm clueless I had a hard time finding so many of the articles Manziel, Rodgers, Manning, Brady because of celebrating. You know since you told me to shove a race card up my rear. I haven't said anything about race. 1000s come up for Cam.

And did you mean these black guys??

Just FYI most players agree with Cam....black or white. Even Andy Dalton supports Cam:

So help me out here.  Why do you criticize Cam?

Who cares if I criticize Cam.

I criticized Cam, Flacco, Manning, Rodgers etc too......

Question is....why is Cam's scrutinized, criticized MORE than other QBs that have done the EXACT same thing?

I would think you care since that's the whole point of your crusade here.  So you give equal amounts of criticism to QBs.   Do you keep some sort of ledger?

More could be because he does it more and for extended periods of time.

You want to cake and to eat it too...you want Cam to be Cam with "just enough" criticism to compare him to other QB's.  But you don't want "too much" criticism to make it look like he's being picked on for "some" reason.

Sorry, but the guy admitted he's a poor loser.  And that's all we've ever said.  He wan'ts to showboat and get his camera time when he's playing well and and wants to hide when he's not.

Not professional and deserving of criticism the SAME as anyone else.  And because it is fresh and new it SEEMS like more when looking back in time.

Media criticism has zero to do with Bmoreblitz's

Nope just common sense

Sounds like an excuse not validation.

You're right.  Tom Brady gets more from the fans than Cam.

Common sense?  What does common sense have to do with you keeping track of how much you criticize each QB?  You would need a ledger to make sure you criticized each QB evenly, because if you don't criticize them evenly then there is an underlying reason.

And no not an excuse. You don't seem to be thinking. If someone celebrates a few times a year on big TDs that is not the same as going nuts every time you score. If someone does a quick move like Rodgers, that is not the same as dancing an entire act from West Side Story. The more you call attention to yourself, the more you will be scrutinized.

I mean you have a damn socialist, white guilt embracing, reparations champion in Dino arguing with you about this.

You know what I'm sick of?

I'm sick of everyone bringing up every bad thing every other QB ever did to justify Cam.  After all these years of completely ignoring bad behavior!  Ninja

I don't really think he has been, he's just the most recent guy to get criticized. I mean a couple years ago when Carolina wasn't that good, no one was really talking about Cam. It was RG3 getting all the attention. Brady is always the subject of debate as well.

Yes it has.. I pointed out other players that have been criticized for their actions on the field (Owens, Manziel, Rose) for being a bit over the top.. it comes with the territory.. does not mean you or I agree with it.. but Cam is no different than other players that have been in the SAME situation.. though he is a bit more unique since he plays a position (QB) that tends to be much more on the low key side of celebrations etc... You can;t compare Manning and his actions to Cam... they are not on equal footing or the reaction from the media and fans.

Scam Newton is still a Scam.

I was really wishing this thread was going to be about Scam Newton's love affair with Nascar.  The Daytona 500 is coming up soon.  Left turns everywhere!

Is there still a CarolinaBengal fan around these parts?

I kind of take the middle ground on this.

I feel Cam to too much heat for his celebrations during the season.

But he deserves the criticism for the way he acted after the Super Bowl. I am sure every NFL QB hates losing just as much as Cam. They are just mature enough to handle it better.

As far as I am concerned he can celebrate all he wants, but he can't be a cry bay when he loses.

Cam is a nancy boy who talks a big game but wont dive onto a fumble during crunch time.

Luckily Bmoreblitz keeps the bed warm for him so he doesn't have to sulk alone. Ninja

yeah ok....Looks like you can't read. Or read for comprehension. I'm not a Carolina fan. And never been a fan of one athlete. So I'm not a Cam Newton fan. I would have the same comments if it were Andy Dalton.

You are making something out of nothing.

You must have a man crush on me.  Sad
