I've had this injury twice (once playing baseball and once when I tripped going down the stairs).  It all depends on the extent of the ligament damage, but it can also effect the cartilage.  Minor damage can heal in two weeks, if there is more severe damage to the ligaments and/or cartilage it can be a couple months and possibly surgery.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.
