NFL is Rigged

I like conspiracy theories and all, but only ones that make logical sense. This just doesnt to me, at least on a league wide level. Im not saying some refs could be biased, because that could be the case for any game of any sport. But it makes no sense for the NFL to try to rig games when they can make the same amount of $$$ by not doing so, and if they get caught then they would take a gigantic hit which they would lose money instantly.

And ffs, I am sounding like Fred now. I need a drink or 3.

you aren't asking the obvious question.....who stands to gain more? go with bengal fans and decades of futility? or steeler fans and their decades of making us money? the answer is clear. and obvious.

People that say "that call didn't lose the game. The Bengals did" are right and wrong.

Yes the Bengals did some stuff to lose the game but so did the steelers. Had Uzomah's TD been correctly called that would have added 4 points to our score and would have forced us to go for 2 on the next TD. If we had converted we would then be down 3 and could have settled for OT with a FG on the last drive. Boyd's catch was within FG range.

Maybe your computer screen is dark? I can see the football cradled in Boyd's arms just fine.

Hint: that's not a gob of skin on Boyd's arm.  Ninja

People are acting like no team can have a bad game for 3.5 quarters and come back and win.  Yet it does happen and could have happened today. We are the Charlie Brown to NFL's Lucy.  They are never going to let us win, and they have gotten more blatant with their bias.

A part of wants to say it is only week 2 and there is a season left to decide things, but the other part of me says that will be hard to do if i feel like i'm watching the WWE.

The refs were blatantly pro Steeler in this game and last playoff game.  The Packers/Jags game had 16 admitted blown calls.  Who benefited from that?  One of the NFL favorites (Packers).  It is most definitely rigged. And they aren't even trying to hide it.

Exactly.  So those saying we would have lost the game anyway today despite the bad calls are wrong.  We won't know for sure what could have happened.

Yet if they would get caught doing so it would ruin the league for years to come, costing them unknown amounts of money.

Its like any casino. The house is always going to win. They dont need to rig slot machines or the tables, as they will make a boatloads of money being legit. But if they get caught doing so, then they would probably go bankrupt. The NFL wouldnt go bankrupt, but it would take years if not decades to recover from a scandal like that.

Easiest reversal I've ever seen. Knee was clearly down before the ball even moved.

the way I see it, If his knee was not down (which it was) then he never really had control and it should have been an incomplete pass.

The refs sucked today and were inconsistent. Maybe they were biased against the Bengals, I dont know. But I just cant see the NFL telling the refs to be biased when there is too much to lose in the day and age when secrets cant be kept.

True, but those saying the NFL won't let us win even though we've done it to PITT in the past and just did it to the Jets on 9/11 just sound stupid.

What would not have been challengable about it?

He was asked about the challenge after the game and he said he was told from upstairs staff that he was out of bounds.
