Red zone offense
#1
Its a combination of our lineman not holding up at point of attack/ Zampeze not creative enough play calling. Whats wrong with runnning QB sneaks with Dalton on short yardage he's extremely effective at these. Play action or getting Gio in space would help as well.

I want to know why on 1st & Goal not a single fade attempt was made for AJ Green?

It's hard to score in the red zone when they can drop 7 into coverage and you still can't run the ball.

Our red zone problems are a direct result of:

No Tyler Eifert
3 new TE/WRs

Just put Hewitt in as lead blocker and run the ball behind him 4 times  straight if necessary.  WTF is Zampese thinking? Sick

Yeah. I find it kinda unbelievable that Hewitt has only played 16 snaps this year.... Doesn't make sense.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

This thread is a perfect example of how all fans are smarter than an NFL OC.

First fan who is smarter than the NFL OC calls for QB sneaks and play action to Gio.

Next fan who is smarter than the NFL OC says we have to throw a fade to Green.

Third fan who is smarter than the NFL OC says we just need to run four straight dives from the I-formation.

Everyone is smarter than the NFL OC yet for some reason they all c all for something different.

Just because Zamp is a NFL OC doesn't mean anything. It's actually a logical fallacy. Just because he's a NFL OC doesn't mean that he could have had the wrong game plan and someone else who's on this MB couldn't have said a better playcall/game plan.

Fades RARELY work and IMO, is the stupidest play in the game, because it rarely works.

Yeah, I'll admit, it looks lovely when it works! Eifert I believe has some nice ones too!

But they so rarely work; if you get pushed at the line for even a split second, it completely screws up the play, the majority of the time.

I don't HATE it, but my dad does; EVERY TIME he sees it be run by any team, he goes nuts (especially if its the Cowboys lol).

Carl Pickens did as well.

I'd add :

RB's getting tackled in the backfield or for no gain 85% of the time

That would be like me saying I can give better legal advise or medical advise than a certified doctor.  You just don;t become a coach at the NFL level by chance... do you even understand how complicated coaching at a higher level is ? and the amount of time these coaches spend in their craft ?   There is a reason people are called armchair QBs.

Here's a perfect example of a Fred Thread:

All our Coaches are great, the team is great, the owner is great, we call all the right plays at all the right times.

All our players are the best in the league, we have the greatest game plans of all time. Marvin always does the right thing, Bodine is the best center in the league.

Hell we should just shut the board down there's nothing to debate !

It's still a logical fallacy. An armchair QB could be right, and a OC could be wrong. That's just how it is.
