Is bowser more of an edge rusher or can he play outside lb? Jones would be gone by now if not for his injury. Not a need here but great value.

Ps since Oakland didn't really take mixon that's my pick ;-)

I think this shows just how stacked this draft is at edge rusher. Tim Williams is probably my favorite of those remaining (Bowser is similar talent) and Carl Lawson, Charles Harris, and Jordan Willis didn't even make the suggestions list.

Given what's available and what we need; I'll nominate Dion Dawkins.

I'm gonna say Caleb Brantley. A rotation with him and Billings would be sick. Lots of good pass rushers available, but we reached for Barnett in 1. CB is a luxury pick. There's no RB or TE worth the pick.

In this case I might go back to back Dline like they did OT with Ogbuehi and Fisher. I like Williams, but too many red flags. Lawson, too many injuries. So Willis or Harris in that order.

According to cbs sports rankings:
Melifonwu 26
Harris 32
Bowser 37
Awuzie 39
Lawson 40
Baker 41
Shaheen 45
Brantley 47
Williams 49
Godwin 54
Dawkins 55
Basham 56

If there is something to eiferts back you gotta look shaheen. I think bowser can be a stud.

Dawkins provides great insurance and future starter. Baker and melifonwu are "luxury" pics vs need picks. I double dip d line later

Man, this is why I don't feel like Barnett is the pick at 9. lol.

Bowser - OLB/DE with cover skills
Obi Melifonwu - Athletic DB who would allow us to moonlight Williams as a LB on passing downs possibly
Awuzie - Shutdown corner. I know we're averse to taking another corner, but corners are like pitching in baseball. You can never have enough
Raekwon McMillan - Minter is on a one year deal and McMillan has the physical skills to be a force at linebacker
Elflein - Versatile OL who could step in at Center on day one

Charles Harris is a first rounder.

He is top 32 on every big board i have seen.

Brantley and Wormley would be tempting.

But boy would I be pissed if we passed on Charles Harris in the 2nd.

Would want Elflein here but believe either him or Pocic will be there in 3rd.

So Roderick Johnson would be my pick.

Probably not what Bengals do, but I do not trust this OL.

Would not be mad if it were DL either.

My thoughts exactly, which is why I'd go Elflein even though it is probably higher than he's ranked. Down the road, assuming he works out just fine, not many will care where he was drafted. Tim Williams would be another consideration.
Some say you can place your ear next to his, and hear the ocean ....

The piano man dreams about offensive tackles built like Roderick.

It would be considered a reach but I wouldnt be upset with Roderick here.

As much as I wish it were Jordan Willis,Curtis Samuel, or the smart pick of Antonio Garcia, I think there is no doubt it my mind that the Bengals would select Adoree Jackson, CB, USC.

My vote goes:

Willis
Samuel
Garcia
Jackson
