For Friday, a repeat of one I actually saw at the Lexington Theater many moons ago:

Odetta
John Prine
Richie Havens

Saturday's lineup:

Pearl Jam (the early years, say their first two sets)
Mahavishnu Orchestra (McLaughlin, Cobham, Hammer, Goodman, Laird - Birds of Fire set)
Pink Floyd (Meddle/Dark Side of the Moon sets)
Some say you can place your ear next to his, and hear the ocean ....

Ya....I know that from prior discussion.....but you wouldn't want to catch some of the greats who have passed on?  I just figured you, if anyone, would have some blues at your gig.....how you gonna party if you're up there playin'? Smirk

I'm a Gemini !!!  You know, bein' in two places at once, and all that  Cool  Besides, I gave serious thought towards listing all of them from the past, and my head started hurtin'. Too many to remember, and no one should be left out. So I left all of them out. It's a blues thing ..... I just plug in Bonamassa and let him tell the story. And don't overlook Odetta. She's kind of at the root of the blues, or at least a good rep for it.

That's the beauty of this thread. We can live in an alternate universe and actually have THE Led Zepplin play at your festival. No need for cover bands.....unless of course you prefer them over the original.

Love that line up!

Yeah. It's impossible for a music lover to fit all of his favorites into a music fest. I strictly went with bands that I know for a fact are/ were great live, or bands that I've heard were amazing live. Even then, I had trouble squeezing them in to ten per night.
