Dalton Has A PERFECT Passer Rating On Posts!
#1
Dalton has a PERFECT passer rating when throwing the post, which is obviously also the bst in the league!

http://www.cincyjungle.com/2017/6/8/15759288/andy-dalton-receives-praise-best-post-route-passer-nfl

Adding a speedster like Ross will only make Dalton better in throwing the post because safeties will have to cheat more to the outside on both sides, opening up the post!

(Posting from my phone, so I can't do the normal link or post much more. Made the final table in a poker tournament at JACK Casino in downtown Cincinnati and get knocked out tenth when my pocket kings got beat by pocket EIGHTS! It's weird because I'm usually a pretty lucky guy.....)

(I tried to post a smiley at the end but can't from my phone)

Being lucky isn't always good luck lol...

10th is good spot though.

Ross Excells at running post routes as well.   When you add in Dalton being perfect on post  it makes it not seem a reach anymore

10th is good except when only SIX make the money and winning it would have put me close to the chip lead lol

I'm loving the Ross pick more and more when I think about all the more ways he can open up our offense.

It's going to be a GREAT year!

That's so beautiful

We're going to be BEYOND dangerous this year!

If our line can hold up, we could have one of the most explosive offenses in the league, especially in the passing game!

Let's just hope that Zampese knows how to utilize all of our weapons!

If the Run game can keep them honest and the OL can give a good 2.5 to 3 seconds per play we should be all right..

Not to mention the D should be even better this year

Good call and I agree, especially since I think Mixon's a beast, but there's still a matter of third down.

And I'd say they the line also has to block well for the running game, but our line was horrible in 2008 when Benson came in, and he had a good year, and that was even after Palmer got hurt, so the defenses didn't have to respect the pass.

I'm becoming more and more ready for the season!

This was one of the reasons I really wanted Ross in the draft.  You've got the best deep post passer in the game throwing to a guy who not only excels with the route, but runs a 4.22 40.

Don't count your chickens just yet. Ross has to prove himself NFL worthy. I think he will, but lets not jinx him.

Andy Dalton was the best in the league when it comes to post routes, corner routes, and go routes.

Yeah i knew this, pretty crazy stat. Adding the fastest guy on turf is a recipe for destruction of Defenses.

Wow, didn't know that about the Corner and Go routes. Great stuff Wolf. :andy:

Just goes to show you how underrated of a QB we have.

We need to use more Slant routes and Screens to the TE though IMHO.

But that is on the OC, Dalton can only take care of his own job and he does a great job of that.

But Chuck Shmuck on SportsVomit.Gov says Dalton is only a product of the talent around him.
Everything in this post is my fault.

It definitely helps when the talent around the QB catches the ball.
