After having high hopes for the undrafted linebacker I have heard nothing about him during this camp. Has anyone? Probably not a good sign.
DiManche?

Flowers has looked better in his chances tbh.
With Hawk and Dawson the chances for the usual suspects like Dimanche naturally go down. We may end up keeping 7 but it's hard to tell if Dimanche will be one of them.

Dilemma!!! Who is the 7th LB if they go with six plus Burfict on PUP. Nico Johnson, 2 down thumper? DiManche, OLB with special team experience, or Carter with OLB and strong pass rush experience in special situations? The down and dirty is, what happens to the 7th LB on the roster when Burfict comes back? All are ineligible to go to the PS, so eventually all are waived with the hope that another team is in need of their skills. Unless a different skill set player is waived when Burfict comes back and the 7th LB stays on the roster. We know for sure (with as much Hine-sight as possible) that all will be gone very soon.
Sorry about this, its just business and things move along until the NFL changes the team roster from 53 players to 55 players. Even then its not a guarantee for those players who are not 1st and 2nd string that they can make a roster. Teams will gravitate to those positions that have highest turn over due to injury. Another item could be the PS rules allowing for a move to 12 players on a PS and then eliminating the 6 game "active roster" rule. BUT, keep the three year maximum rule for being able to go to a PS. If you can't make a team by the end of your 2nd year on PS, then you might want to consider arena football. Just saying! :-)) So, get released now while teams are cutting and signing players that they feel will fit or hang around and wait to see what happens.

Heard some things about him as to STs and run stuffing, but that's about it. He's a run stuffing specialist who can move quickly sideline to sideline. Although he has a good chance of making the roster, especially from a ST standpoint.

Cris Carter sounds like he's been a force to reckon with if he can help the pass rush and be used effictivley that would be a welcome addition.

I am a fan of DiManche, but he has not done anything this season to show he deserves to be on the team.
Other linebackers are making a more convincing case to remain on the team. Hopefully he will see more snaps in the future to figure out his future, Maybe the Bengals are keeping him around because his daughter has cancer?

What about Porter? Since we have drafted him I don't think I have seen or read anything about him. Almost to the point where I forget he is on the team.
