There's no excuse for AJ and the Bengals to not get a deal done. The comparable deals of Bryant, Thomas and Jones are all very, very similar and should be exactly around where the Bengals are on AJ. It should just be a matter of both wanting to do it.

Basically an identical situation to 1st round draft pick contacts, the market's set, signing bonuses and such could vary though.

Because similar contracts are always slightly better as an off season goes on, I'm going to predict AJ Green's contract extension will be after the 4th pre-season game.

And it will be a 5 year, 75 million, 50 million guaranteed.

Can't have a guy sign for less or equal to a guy who signed before him.
