Must of went to space and changed his DNA...

I didn't believe it for a second when I read it, but now... With the moves we've made in free agency (a trade!?), the firing of Mike Brown's little lackey PA, releasing Mike Brown's favorite suck up Pacman Jones...
Maybe... Just maybe... Mike Brown has finally stepped down
This was hinted at, sure sounds likely now with all these moves. Even Hobspin is talking about us taking a Center at 21.

Welcome aboard Preston and
Go Cards !
Loved him in college and can not wait to see a Louisville Cardinal in Bengals stripes starting.
Smell an OSU player coming next. We certainly have switched gears and I love it.
Another good move by front office. Kudos to them.

Even if it was done as a reaction to the Burfict situation, it's still a great move. The less Vinnie Rey we have to see, the better.

Buying a big bag of popcorn and just sitting back and watching the FO go.
could not be happier with offseason moves so far. Hope the draft is as good.

Even before the Burfict situation we needed too improve at LBer and prepare for life without Burfict that could start at anytime.
He just can not be counted on unfortunately.

I doubt it was, Preston is more of a MIKE/SAM backer than a WILL. Just a great aggressive move honestly.
Great run stopper, will hit guys behind the LOS lots, takes great angles and is just a sure tackler. Just the LB we needed here.

And we usually are a pretty good drafting team barring injuries. We get a Center with one of our first two picks and man i am
liking our chances of maybe even winning a Playoff game this year. These are some great moves that i would of done if i was
running things. Cordy Glenn, Preston Brown, Chris Baker and now even Hobspin talking about us taking a Center at 21?
Awesome.

Could it be that some of our less than stellar players are no longer safe from the cutting ax? Nahhh.. That's impossible.. After all, we're not Cleveland fans..

Curious where he will play. I'm not sure he's ever played MLB in a 4-3.

I like his draft profile. I tried to compare his and Burfict. I had no clue that Burfict failed so badly at the combine
3 Cone Drill
6.98 secs
Broad Jump
116.0 inches
Vertical Jump
33.0 inches
40 Yard Dash
4.86 Secs
20 Yard Shuttle
4.26 secs
Bench Press
23.0 reps
STRENGTHS
Outstanding size. Physical tackler. Steps downhilll and attacks the run with the proper shoulder. Good eyes and instincts. Delivers some pop on contact and strikes with force. Experienced three-year starter. Good football intelligence -- makes the calls and lines up a defense
Some good stuff.

COMPARE THESE NUMBERS TO RYAN SHAZIER WHO WAS AT THE SAME COMBINE
3 Cone Drill
6.98 secs
SHAZIER...6.91
20 Yard Shuttle
4.26 secs
SHAZIER....4.21
NOT BAD CONSIDERING BROWN WAS 14 LBS HEAVIER

Great add on. I would add that he is a better tackler too.
Also, should be noted, Brown took a huge leap last year after taking a 10 pound reduction in diet by eating better. This is pretty awesome.
Also, worth noting and TOOTING my own horn but my bench numbers are better than Burfit/Brown. TOOT TOOT. loool
Now my cones though...BOY, that'd be rough.

Says he will be playing MIKE on bengals.com. Shouldn't be a problem for him.
He can also play SAM which is awesome.

Highly doubt Vea will make it to 21, Da'Ron Payne could be there and i would be fine with the pick as long
as we got Price or Ragnow next at 46. The trenches man, that is where you win games but Preston Brown
sure goes a long way in how we tackle.

Man, sure will be cool to have a Linebacker besides Burfict come in and hit a RB and send them backwards for once.
He seems to be a natural leader as well who could really help out our young guys get better.

Saw that about his diet on youtube. Looks like we got a top tier FA in their prime. Don't remember this happening.
We got Glenn, Preston and Baker all while they are still relatively young.
