This is great. I just hope players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney, if he does indeed come to the MLS, will still be playing when they start up. Those two are legends of the game near the end of their careers.

How many Bengal fans on here helped pave the way for FC Cincinnati to the MLS? I'm curious because I thank you!

First MLS game started off great with a volley banger to go up 1-0! Then conceded 4 goals...

Defense needs some work coaching and drill wise. Too many gaps and not enough marking down in the box area. Offense probably need to find better talent going forward if they cant keep possession, otherwise they won't win too many games.

Their possession was pitiful. Bad passes, just kicking the ball ahead into areas, hard touches that lost control, etc. They need to get way better technically to even have a chance of being competitive in MLS.

So, are they there to be the doormats of MLS?

Woo hoo! Another last place professional team in Cincinnati!

I'll take a 1-1 draw on the road against the defending champions.

Could have been 2-1 FCC, but they called a header goal offsides, and he was even with the Atlanta defender. Regardless getting a point on the road verse the champs is huge for this young club.

So what is that now, 2-1-1?  I wouldn't watch a soccer game with a gun to my head but I'll definitely root for any Cincinnati team.

Yeah, and if they win Saturday against Philadelphia, they will set a MLS record for most points by an expansion club thru first 5 games with 10.

They are on a stretch of several games without getting a goal, even had a man advantage for almost the whole second half and still didn't score.

I havent been keeping up them much to be honest, but yeah something had to change from what I was hearing. But going into the season I knew they had to eventually get better players on the back line, midfield, and on the attack. What they had just wouldnt be able to compete season long at that level. So yeah, they need a change at manager in hopes it sparks a change and can help attract players in the upcoming transfer windows.

Adi said they have talented players, but lack an identity, and Koch had guys playing out of their normal positions.
