Training camp news, notes, thoughts, reaction, etc

I've been posting on one Dallas forum lately and many there seem to believe that their oline will stay good forever regardless of anything PA does or doesn't do, but nobody has ever accused Dallas fans of being the best and brightest fans of any team in the history of football . Lol
They have exactly two scapegoats.. Jerry Jones and the boy wonder Garrett..

He has indeed, he says he is down 15 lbs from what he was last year at 265.

C'mon ... Can't we all just scream for the greatest trades of all time to happen, that we trade all our worst players for the best players of the best teams?  It only makes sense because.... Well , it just does . Logic is never required when you're dealing with pure unrealistic fantasies!   Cool

True about competition, in my case once we drafted a kicker in round 5, I did not want a competition. My point is these decisions being made may be a reason we lose and can't win a playoff game. I don't think Belichick drafts a kicker on round 5, then questions his pick and puts him in a competition in year one. I think BB drafts for now and the future and would not give up on a kicker drafted as most kickers are not drafted so a unique position in the NFL.

No mention of Jared Allen?

No news is good news. I just hope he keeps drilling kicks at his currently outstanding 88.5% clip as a Bengal.

Long as he does that, he's good with me. For those with an Elliott man-crush, Bullock will never be good enough.

You call people gay because we think Elliott will have better career than Bullock?

Whatever

I would wager you that belicheck puts every 5th rounder he's ever drafted in a competition for their position in year 1.

That is about 11 million in salary cap savings I believe if all 3 are cut for younger type players who will be paid league minimum. Money would could use to extend Dunlap and Geno or grab a FA or trade for someone that could help us in 2018.

Agree
