***Week 7 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Chiefs***

Just like every QB.

Mahomes has been basically untouched all night. Watch what happens when they hit a defense that solves the KC offensive line and can actually cover. New England managed it for a half and Mahomes looked VERY ordinary in that half.

Hue Jackson has won like 3 games in 3 seasons.

I would love to see an experiment where Tom Brady plays behind Cincinnati’s offensive line and Andy Dalton takes some snaps with New England. That would open some eyes.

Andy Dalton has been protected just fine tonight. and has a passer rating of 63 against the worst D in the NFL.  Folks would take you a little more seriously if you were a little objective.

And KC picked Mahomes right after we picked Ross.......of course

Someone needs to answer for this defense's shortcomings. There's a shitload of money invested in that line and a bunch of high draft picks in the secondary. This d has gotten worse than it was last year. Newness and learning the system only lasts so long as an excuse.

They are not fundamentally sound, their communication sucks, and they cannot get lined up. It's cliche as hell, but the Austin sucking thing is officially real at this point. He doesn't know what to do with what he has. Hard to argue that he hasn't hurt more than he's helped.

In his defense, the Browns weren't even trying to put a real team on the field until this year.  Plus, we are talking worst coached team, not worst team. How many wins do you think Marvin would have gotten out of the 2015-16 Browns?

Tom Brady looked ordinary for a half against the falcons.

Also, I'd clean somebody here for going for it on 4th and 4. Knees or head all the way.

So the line has been bad for 8 years?

Cause other than C I remember them being pretty decent for a while there...

Only in your opinion. When you have defenders flying in your face on every snap and the running game get mostly stuffed sorry, that is not "protected just fine".

That was a mercy run. Reid was hoping they didn't score there so they don't embarrass his friend Marvin.
