Top 11 WR duos in 2019: Odell Beckham-Jarvis Landry rank No. 1
#1
1) Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns: In 2018, no Browns player topped 1,000 receiving yards, while quarterback Baker Mayfield only appeared in 14 games, and still, Cleveland ranked 14th in passing yards. General manager John Dorsey set out to give Mayfield more to work with -- and he couldn't have done much better than making a blockbuster trade for Beckham. Last season, Landry was the focal point of the Browns' passing attack, given a team-high 149 targets (tied for ninth-most in the NFL), but he only managed 12 yards per catch. He's got great hands and the quickness to get loose on, say, a crucial third-and-5 slant, but he's not really a big-play guy. It didn't help that defenders could roll their coverage toward him. Between the reunion of these former LSU teammates (in their final season together as Tigers, Beckham and Landry combined for 136 catches, 2,345 receiving yards and 18 TD catches) and the emergence of second-year pro Antonio Callaway as a deep threat, Landry should be able to do much more damage in the slot.

8) A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals: Through eight weeks in 2018, Green was on pace for 90 catches, 1,374 yards and 12 touchdowns. But a toe injury ruined the second half of Green's season, and the impact of his absence on the offense was compounded by a thumb injury that kept QB Andy Dalton on the sidelines for the final five games. Despite those setbacks, Boyd took a huge step forward in Year 3 of his career, becoming the first Bengals player not named A.J. Green to record 1,000-plus receiving yards in a season since Chad Johnson did it in 2009. Even better numbers could be in store in new coach Zac Taylor's offense.

AJ and Boyd should be higher. A few of those #2’s are nowhere near as good as Boyd.

My thoughts exactly. I’ll take Green and Boyd over Brown and Williams any day

Cool. WRs are ranked for a season that isnt here yet, and a duo that hasnt even lined up together in OTAs is ranked #1. Impressive.

I'd put him over Watkins, Fuller, and Williams for sure

Well, the Bengals should just go ahead and call off this upcoming season since it's a foregone conclusion there's no way the Bengals can possible win and then go ahead and crown the Browns as the greatest team ever.. No need to actually play the games so just put it on paper and make it a "wrap".. Right?
Somehow the idea of eating a Brown wrap just doesn't sound as delicious as even a Micky D McCrappy burger.. Nervous

Tyrell Williams played with Phillip Rivers, and is nothing more than a poor man's Chris Henry. He's gonna flop even harder than Antonio Brown in Oakland.

I like Will Fuller as a player, but he's fragile. I can't believe they think he's better than Tyler Boyd.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Thats what i was thinking. The amount of hype the Stains are getting is insane.

They better live up to it or they will fall apart. Bringing in divas like OBJ to go along with Mayfield could really blow up in their face.

Green and Boyd should be right near the top, in the top 5 atleast. They have atleast played on the same Offense before.

Everyone knows that a player known by his initials, especially with a roman numeral after 3 letters in going to be the greatest of all time.. Right?
I coulda been known as MRA00I if I had been a great football player that could actually catch a ball..( I couldn't catch footballs for didly squat and still can't) Unfortunately MRA001 just doesn't have a football ring to it so there went my aspirations to be in the football HOF..  Oh wait...JL..is that JL00I or just JL? Maybe just Jarvis Landry..  Sorry Browns fans..It just doesn't have that acronym ring to it.

Agreed.  You'd probably get a kick out of my 2019 season QB rankings.

Unless Green and Boyd start manufacturing tobacco products.. Even then I'd still stick with them..

Green and Boyd are injured too much, can't stay on the field.
Landry and Beckham between them will have over 200 receptions, 2500 receiving yards and 25 TD's. Can't wait to watch this offensive juggernaut. :andy:

The Browns won free agency no doubt. They have the best offense on paper, we will have to see if that translates to success on the field. With Pitts loss of Brown ,the defensive losses of the Ravens, and the return of the players on IR to the Bengals IMO its a wide open division.

Wow, you truly are clueless about what you're talking about. Beckham only played 1 full season. He gets injured every year.

OBJ is injured far more than AJ or Boyd.

And Landry has scored more than 5 TD’s exactly once in his career. I SERIOUSLY doubt they get to 25 between them.

As soon as mayfield reverts to the inevitable browns trend of sucking, OBJ will go full diva and reveal himself as the true locker room cancer that he is. You will take your traditional place in the basement of the division, your coach will get fired after 1 or 2 seasons, and the rebuild will begin again. You will disappear off this message board, and reappear when your next savior qb is drafted to tell us all how we better watch out because the browns are for real this time. Your team, your city and your fans are a joke....accept it.
